Leonardo DiCaprio takes a bike ride with mystery blonde in New York... after rumors he was partying night before with Rihanna

Leonard DiCaprio isn't willing to let go of his ladies man credentials just yet.

The Hollywood star, 41, hopped on a bike in New York on Wednesday, cycling around the city with a mystery blonde female companion.

His energetic outing came despite his late night partying the night before, clubbing first with his latest model fling Nina Agdal and then with pal Rihanna.

DiCaprio looked relaxed and happy as he took in the sights with the strawberry blonde who showed off her model good looks in a cropped white tank top and figure-hugging skinny jeans.

She added a pair of white tennis shoes and wore her long locks in a ponytail as she joined the Oscar winner on a for-hire CitiBike.

The actor wore a blue v-neck t-shirt and matching baseball cap worn backwards along with white shorts and black slip-on canvas shoes.

Hours earlier, Rihanna, 28, was seen strutting into the Up and Down night club in the West Village, with DiCaprio arriving just ten minutes later with a group of pals, including another rumored flame, model Nina Agdal, 24.

While Agdal was seen leaving the nightspot just 15 minutes after arriving,  the R&B star and The Revenant star both stayed until 3am.

The famous pair added fuel to speculation they are more than just pals when they were spotted together at the Neon Carnival party in April.

That came after they were seen in January partying in Paris together where eyewitnesses allegedly saw them kissing.

His low carbon day out came a week after he angered campaigners by making an 8,000 mile round trip to pick up an environmental award.

A week ago, DiCaprio angered campaigners with his headline-grabbing trip to join Ralph Lauren, Robert De Niro, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the Riverkeeper Fishermen's Ball where he was honoured by the clean-water advocacy group.

Campaign groups criticized him for taking a private jet to make the fleeting round trip from Cannes, where he was enjoying the nightlife, to Manhattan for the charity event and then flying back to the French Riviera for the Cinema Against AIDS gala.

In February, the actor famously used his Oscar acceptance speech to demand action on climate change.

While he partook of a low carbon form of transport on Wednesday, last week DiCaprio was blasted by critics for taking a private jet from Cannes to New York and back again so he could collect an environmental award

Perhaps most extravagantly, back in France he also reportedly hired a helicopter to fly him from his rented hilltop villa to a party held in the gardens of the exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

DiCaprio has previously made much of his support for environmental causes, with his foundation recently pledging more than £10 million to green projects at this year’s World Economic Forum.

However, this is not the first time his extravagant lifestyle has clashed with his environmental campaigning.

Only last July, he was lambasted for spending a week lounging on his superyacht in the Mediterranean, just after receiving another environmental accolade.

And in 2014, emails hacked from film studio Sony revealed he took six private flights in just six weeks which cost £138,000. This travel included two round trips from Los Angeles to New York, and one from LA to Las Vegas.
