When it comes to the Marvel Comics universe, the savviest fans know to stay in their seats through the credits in case there is a 'button' or secret scene.
And there is good reason to stick around for the conclusion of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse, which finally hits US theaters Friday.
According to Just Jared, the post-credits scene involves the rescue of Hugh Jackman's Logan/Wolverine from scientist William Stryker's Alkali Lake facility.

Following Wolverine's killing spree, a mysterious man sent by Nathaniel Essex/Mister Sinister puts a vial of blood marked 'Weapon X' inside a briefcase with other vials marked 'ESSEX CORP' at the facility.
The 3D superhero flick has managed to amass $115.4M at the box office, despite a dismal 47 percent approval rating (out of 194 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes.
X-Men: Apocalypse features a large ensemble cast including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, and Olivia Munn.
