It was a star-studded affair all in her honour, and Zoe Kravitz managed to shine brighter than the rest when she turned up in a truly out-of-this-world outfit.

The 27-year-old sported a plunging gold dress with a star design as she attended a bash in West Hollywood on Wednesday, celebrating her new role as the muse of Yves Saint Laurent.

Zoe teamed the spectacular look with a pair of strappy gold heels and a leather jacket with shredded fringe for an edgy touch.

She slicked on a bold shade of red lipstick for an added pop of colour, and finished off her low-key makeup with a coat of tan eyeshadow.

Earlier this month, Zoe was announced as the muse for fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent, a gig that will see her share beauty advice, according to Harper's Bazaar.

She will also make an appearance in the Beyond The Light video, which will highlight how musicians approach makeup as art.

'YSL has always been one of my favorite brands,' Zoe said of teaming up. 'Their ability to combine the chicest of style with a raw edge has always been to me one of the best ways to express yourself through fashion and beauty.'

Kelly Osbourne, meanwhile, must have been feeling like a princess as she arrived wearing a glittering tiara atop her curly violet hair.

She wore her long brunette tresses down in loose waves and added on a bold winged slick of eyeliner for added drama.
