Bristol Palin and her ex-fiance Dakota Meyer may no longer be a couple, but the two are becoming experts on co-parenting. 

The 25-year-old mother-of-two took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share a sweet black and white photo of herself posed on a mountain top with her 27-year-old Marine ex and their five-month-old daughter Sailor Grace.

'Baby daddy bff,' she captioned the image, which sees the Medal of Honor recipient holding Sailor in a carrier on the front of his chest.

Bristol and Dakota, who appear to be on a hiking trail in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, are posed close together as they smile for their scenic selfie that overlooks the mountain top. 

Dakota is sporting a casual T-shirt and Bristol is bundled up in a vest a camouflage trucker hat, but Sailor is undoubtedly the warmest in a knit cap featuring two oversized pom poms. 

However, the adorable little girl's face is out of view as she has her head resting on doting dad's chest. 

Bristol, who also has a seven-year-old son named Tripp with her ex-fiance Levi Johnston, loves to share candid pictures of her children, as well as her family and friends, and Dakota has been making and more and more appearances on her Instagram feed as they continue to raise their little girl.

Earlier this month, Daily Mail Online revealed that Dakota went to court to demand their daughter's name be changed to include his surname.

According to court records, the former Marine filed a change of name petition in Alaska Court on May 5 to legally change her name to Sailor Grace Palin Meyer.

The judge in the case has set a hearing for next month when he will decide whether or not to approve the name change.

The petition comes after months of nasty fighting between Dakota and Bristol as he demanded more time with his daughter and Bristol insisted Sailor couldn't be away for long periods of time because she was breast-feeding the baby.

Despite months of back and forth the two were finally able to reach an agreement on child support and custody.

In a potential indication that the former couple may have managed to put their differences aside following their custody battle, they put on a show of unity earlier this month when Bristol shared a picture of the pair jointly holding their baby.

She wrote in the caption for the picture—the first photo of them together with their child—'#coparenting'. 

Meanwhile, Dakota took to Instagram a few days later to share a photo of himself holding a smiling Sailor, who is wearing pink sunglasses and a matching T-shirt that reads 'No Paparazzi Please'. 

'I've had a lot of titles but I'll be honest... Dad is by far my favorite one,' he wrote, tagging Bristol in the caption.

And while Bristol and Dakota are clearly working out their issues, she has been battling Levi over missed child support payments for their son Tripp. 

Bristol argued that 26-year-old Levi—who now has two younger children with his wife Sunny Oglesby—wasn’t a suitable parent and demanded that the 50/50 custody plea be denied.

The mother-of-two pointed out that Levi was not only behind on his child support payments, but he hasn't been visiting Tripp on a regular basis.

Earlier this week, Levi was ordered to pay $62,000 in unpaid child support after a lengthy battle over their son's upbringing. 

Despite her ongoing issues with her children's fathers, Bristol is clearly focused on raising two happy and well-adjusted kids who have strong relationships with their dads.

Two weeks ago, Bristol posted an adorable picture of Sailor smiling for the camera as he modeled a pair of pint-sized ripped jeans, a deer-print neckerchief, and a nautical-striped headband. 

Bristol, who was most likely responsible for the stylish ensemble, captioned the image: 'So in love'.  

She also posted a picture of Tripp playing on a trampoline, commenting: 'Watched too much American Ninja Warrior #allboy'.

Earlier this month, Bristol celebrated Mother's Day with her mother Sarah and other female members of the family, sharing pictures from the gathering, which she said covered 'four generations'.

The former Alaska Governor also took to Facebook to post pictures from the day, writing: 'Happy Mother's Day from some favorite moms and daughters way up North who love their families and their country oh-so-much. We're with the ones still proudly clinging to God, guns, and our Constitution!'
