'After all he's done to poor Hodor!' Game Of Thrones' Kristian Nairn shares his cake with Bran's Isaac Hempstead-Wright after THAT 'hold the door' episode
Sunday night's heartbreaking episode of Game of Thrones saw fan favourite Hodor sacrifice himself for his young friend Bran Stark.
But while Hodor might have performed his last duty, off screen, actors Kristian Nairn and Isaac Hempsead-Wright's friendship is still going strong.
Kristian, who played Hodor for six seasons on the global hit show, shared a Twitter pic with his co-star as they tucked into an appropriate door-shaped cake.

No hard feelings: While Hodor might have performed his last duty, off screen Game of Thrones actors Kristian Nairn (left) and Isaac Hempsead-Wright's friendship is still going strong as they shared a selfie this week
The Northern Irish actor shared the selfie with his Twitter followers, which shows the two GoT stars sharing a cake - shaped like the vine covered door from Sunday's episode.
As Kristian quite literally holds the door while Isaac enjoys a bite, the actor quipped in the caption: 'Even after all he's done to poor hodor. I'm still sharing my cake with @Isaac_H_Wright #love #gameofthrones.'
Isaac retweeted the shot before adding his own selfie, as he told his fans: 'Even though Hodor may be gone, @KristianNairn isn't getting away from me that easy... #HoldTheDoor #GameofThrones.'

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter this week, Kristian, who also has a career as a DJ, admitted he heard about his death on the infamously bloodthirsty show from a co-star.
'It didn't come from [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] directly,' Kristian explained. 'It came from my gossiping friends, who will remain nameless.'
'We obviously talk about our scripts among us actors. We don't always get scripts at the same time. I remember talking to another cast member and saying, jokingly, "So, do I die this season?"'

Heartbreak: Isaac's character Bran managed to escape from the White Walkers thanks to his old friend
'And that cast member had a look of panic, like, "Yep! You're dying, and I don't know how to tell you!" That's how I found out.'
Asked how he felt when he eventually got his script and discovered how his character's death played out, the actor admitted:
'I actually cried. I didn't cry openly, but I had a little bit of a sob to myself. It's just so sad. To me, it's very satisfying as well. It ties up a lot about Hodor. It ties him all together and kills him at the same time. It's very Game of Thrones.'
Heartbreak: The character's death and the revelation that 'Hodor' was a time travel contraction of his last instruction of 'hold the door', had GoT fans expressing their grief with some poignant snaps on social media
His one job: Many shared pics of their makeshift door stops in tribute to Hodor's last act
In-joke: Others revealed the trend for sticking images of the character in elevators around the world as a fan signal to 'hold the door'
