Gwyneth Paltrow has asked a judge to officially end her marriage to Chris Martin, two years after they 'consciously uncoupled.'

The actress, 43, filed paperwork requesting the judge enter a default judgement after her ex failed to respond to her divorce petition, TMZ reports.

Coldplay frontman Chris, 39, failed to respond to her paperwork because the couple have worked out details of their split amicably, the gossip site said.

Keeping the official paperwork to a minimum and getting a default judgement means the details of their divorce will remain private.

Gwyneth filed the petition to divorce in April, 2015.

The exes had their business manager work out an agreement on how to divide up their property, and they long ago agreed to share joint custody of their son Moses, 10, and daughter Apple, 12.

Gwyneth and Chris famously announced their split in 2014 with a statement on her Goop site saying they were 'consciously uncoupling' after 10 years of marriage.

However, they have made an effort to remain on friendly terms and have even vacationed together with their children in Mexico since splitting up.
