And Nashville star Clare Bowen and her fiancé Brandon Robert Young appear to be more in love than ever.

The soon-to-wed couple looked enamoured with one another as they took to the stage on Thursday for an intimate acoustic performance at Sydney's Oxford Arts Factory.

The smitten pair could hardly keep their eyes off one another during the show, as Clare, 32, was seen passionately belting out the lyrics whilst on stage.

Brandon, also a musician, was seen strumming away on his guitar throughout most of the performance while intermittently picking up the microphone to join in with his future wife on the vocals. 

Clare, who is currently working with A-list producers on her debut solo album, which is due out later this year, showcased a collection of original songs and Nashville series covers during the performance.

For the appearance she looked ethereal in a feminine lace dress.

Her pretty frock featured delicate capped sleeves and she accessorised with a beaded headband worn over her pixie-cut brunette locks.

Clare confirmed news of her engagement to Brandon on Twitter late last year.

The talented actress, who plays songwriter Scarlett O'Connor in the hit country music show, retweeted the story broken by Sounds Like Nashville and simply wrote the words 'Thankyou!'

Brandon, a fellow musician, popped the question while they were both performing at the The Grand Ole Opry at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

The Australian native returned from the US for the East Coast tour, which began in Melbourne on Wednesday.

She will play in Thirroul on Friday before closing with a show in Brisbane on Monday.

The Woollongong-raised star shot to fame in local programs including Home And Away and All Saints.

She relocated to the US in 2012, where she caught her big break, starring as singer-songwriter Scarlett O'Connor in US television series Nashville.

An accomplished performer herself, Clare has also showcased her incredible vocals at numerous venues in the US.
