'I don't have a relationship with Miley Cyrus now, but there's no bad blood': Nick Jonas on his ex teen sweetheart

Nick Jonas says there is no 'bad blood' between himself and Miley Cyrus.

The 'Jealous' hitmaker says he's so pleased for her with all the success she has had.

He told Entertainment Weekly magazine: 'I love [her song] 'Wrecking Ball' so much. I still think it's one of the best pop songs of the last 10 years. And you know, she's always been so outspoken and authentic to who she is, so it was only a matter of time before she really owned that, and I'm proud of her.

'No bad blood': Nick Jonas, pictured in London this week, said he's 'proud' of his ex girlfriend Miley Cyrus, seen here in March

'I don't have a relationship with her now really, but that's not because we have any bad blood - we just sort of run in different circles. It's a lot like watching your high school crush do well, just on a bigger scale.'

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old singer previously praised Miley for her 'awesome persona'.

He shared: 'It's been a while since I spoke to Miley, but I think that the persona is awesome and I think that she is living proof that you can continue to evolve as an artist and a creator. And I'm a huge Woody Allen fan, so I'm looking forward to seeing the show that she's doing with him.'

However, their first kiss wasn't so great, with Nick admitting he had just scoffed down an onion-covered pizza.

He recalled: 'The first person I kissed was Miley Cyrus and I kissed her outside of California Pizza Kitchen in Hollywood - very romantic. I'd just had a pizza that had onions all over it. I'm sure that my breath smelled terrible.'

But Nick insists he has no regrets about his past relationships.

He said: 'I was so young. What's unfortunate is that, as we got older, we ran in different circles. We've always had respect and wished the best for each other. I don't know that I have any regrets. It's more gratitude for having had a good friend in a time of craziness in my life and in hers.'
