His family lives on either side of the Pacific Ocean so Guy Sebastian wastes no time when they are all together.

On Saturday, the former Australian Idol winner was reunited with his wife Jules and sons Hudson, four, and two-year-old Archer in his Los Angeles base.

Jules shared her delight at the family being back together by snapping a photo of her husband strolling through The Grove, in western LA, holding Hudson’s hand.

‘Reunion! My fam bam being together is my happy place,’ she wrote on Instagram and Facebook.

The kids and Jules spend most of their time in Sydney while the 34-year-old singer pursues his career in the U.S. with frequent trips back to Australia.

The family day out in the Californian sunshine appears to have come soon after they touched down, as Jules last posted to social media on Thursday night with a picturesque shot of her with the boys watching the sun set in Sydney.

Earlier that day, she attended an event at La Porte Space.

Even when he is not in Sydney, Guy keeps his 278,000 followers up to date with how his family is going, last week posting a photo of Hudson with Jules at his first karate lesson.

During his most recent visit, the pop singer joined producer Paces aka Mikey Perry in the Triple J studio for its renowned weekly live segment Like A Version.

The two performed Keeping Score by Sydney electronic producer LDRU and Paces performed his own song 1993 (No Chill).

Speaking to Triple J breakfast hosts Matt and Alex, Mike described how he and Sebastian came to work together.

'We've worked together a little bit over the last six months or so and this opportunity came up and he was down for it,' he said.

'So next minute, Guy Sebastian's doing Like A Version,' he laughed.

Guy added: 'Who would've thought.'

The two have been collaborating since Sebastian reached out to Perry, and the Battle Scars singer provided vocals on the track Desert on Paces’ debut album Vacation.
