Back to the future! Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon can't contain their excitement as they come face-to-face with their Britain's Got Talent 'old-alikes'

This series marks the tenth year of popular talent show franchise Britain's Got Talent.

And to celebrate the momentous achievement, presenter Stephen Mulhern had a special trick up his sleeve for the judges on Thursday night's spin-off show, Britain's Got More Talent.

The presenter surprised panellists Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams with their very own 'old-alikes', imagining what they will look like 40 years from now.

He teased: 'It's been 10 years and we've all got a bit older. It got us thinking, what will you all look like in 2046?

'Wonder no more! Judges please welcome your Britain's Got Talent old-alikes!'

The judges' lookalikes then hobbled out onto the stage, complete with a zimmer frame and a walking cane.

Uncanny: Amanda was thrilled with the 2046 version of herself, who was clad in an elegant evening gown and sported a similar bouffant hairdo

The resemblance was rather uncanny between Amanda and her future double, who was clad in an elegant white evening gown with a bouffant blonde hairdo.

Alesha's doppelganger was reminiscent of the bubbly judge, laughing as she shuffled along in a gold spangled dress.

But it was Simon's old-alike who drew the most cheers from the studio audience, mocking the 56-year-old music mogul's age-defying looks by selecting a double who looked exactly the same as he does now.

'I've got no storage! I've got to take some pictures! It's so annoying', she wailed.

It seems Amanda managed to resolve the issue, however, as she later uploaded a snap of her encounter with her older counterpart.

She captioned the image: 'Back to the future @BGT What a great show!

The humorous segment came after an action-packed live show, which saw The Togni Brothers taking a tumble in front of millions of viewers.

Luckily for the duo, the judges were still full of praise for the siblings, with Simon Cowell claiming the slip made the performance 'more exciting.'

Explaining that they took a 'risk' to get through to Saturday night's live final, the duo seemed in good spirits despite the embarrassing mishap.

After gasping audibly, Amanda sympathised: 'You know what that is life,' as Alesha Dixon added: 'We were all rooting for you.'

As Simon claimed he found the fall 'exciting', he said: 'That is what happens on live TV sometimes.'

David was also full of praise for the duo as he explained: 'The stumble just showed how hard it is.'

But whilst the acrobats may have won over the judges, they failed to secure enough public votes and came in fifth place.

Also performing on the night were Trip Hazard & Lucy, Craig Ball, Ana &Fia Almanda, Presentation School Choir, Chloe Fenton, The Deep Space Deviants, and Jasmine Elcock.

And Wednesday's programme gave singer Beau Dermott and dance act Balance a pass to the final.

The public vote will also see one third placed act from the week make it through to Saturday's show, as well as a choice from the judges.
