Rihanna was spotted leaving the Chelsea Piers in New York City at 8am on Friday following an early morning photo shoot.

And while the 28-year-old appeared to be in good spirits, it seems she was ready to crawl back into bed.

Rihanna was wearing a fuzzy black Ralph Lauren dressing gown with matching slippers and sheer socks, and carried a silver metallic handbag.

The singer, who happily smiled at fans as she strolled past them, had her dark hair pulled into a sleek low bun and sported pink lip gloss.

Rihanna covered her face with futuristic sunglasses - which were in fact from her soon to be released collaboration with Dior.

The eyewear collection, simply called Rihanna, was inspired by LeVar Burton's character Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

New images of the Work hit-maker modelling her latest collaboration with Dior were unveiled on Wednesday.

Rihanna has been on a collaboration spree. There was Fenty x Puma, then Manolo Blaknik and now it's a special pair of sunglasses at Dior. She's definately all work work work work.

She was inspired by Star Trek and it shows with the super cool mirrored lenses and sleek futuristic lines. These will swiftly become a celebrity favorite like the So Reals. They're also so strikingly different that it's sure to be street style bait.

They've got an athletic touch to them as well so it'll match perfect with a sporty neoprene outfit. Or wear them to Burning Man!

Rihanna is currently on a break from her Anti World Tour, which kicks off its European leg in Amsterdam on June 17.

She will finish performing in Europe in August, and after that has one final performance in Abu Dhabi on November 27.

Meanwhile earlier this week Rihanna partied and Up And Down nightclub alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

The pair arrived separately but within 10 minutes of each other, and both stayed out until 3am.

In January, Rihanna and Leonardo were seen partying in Paris together, and eyewitnesses allegedly saw them kissing.

They were first linked last year, but the singer shot down rumours that they were romantically involved in March 2015.

'I’m so busy right now that I just don’t have a lot of time to offer to a man so it wouldn’t even be fair to be thinking of pulling somebody else into this life,' she told Hello! magazine.

'But if I did, he would have to be man enough to live with my schedule and not get scared.'
