Get into Formation! Beyonce and Jay Z pose with a crowd of excited workmen (but has he seen the lemon on her phone?)

They sure aren't the typical members of the Beyhive.

But Beyonce and Jay Z showed just how far their fame reaches, as they were surrounded by excited workmen on Thursday night.

The duo were begged for pictures by the transit laborers, still clad in their fluorescent coats, as they walked past their site in New York on Thursday.

Laughing happily, the amenable pair posed alongside the group of men, who took selfies - perhaps to send on to their teenage kids.

The superstar couple certainly didn't put on airs, chatting to the group at the impromptu meet and greet.

The meeting was captured as the as the power couple left their midtown office in New York.

Placing a gentle hand on Beyonce's back, the 46-year-old rapper guided her past the cameras.

While Jay Z looked like he could have done without the flashbulbs, Beyonce appeared happy with the attention.

She was certainly dressed for the occasion, in bright canary yellow trousers with a white camisole top tucked inside.

An eye-catching straw hat and a white jacket draped over her shoulders completed the look.

The couple were heading to Jay's niece's graduation celebration.

Be like Beyonce with her classic boater hat

Just an FYI- summer is coming up fast so before you get beat in the face by ultra-violet rays and humidity it might make sense to start prepping your warm-weather wardrobe now.

There are the obvious essentials, of course-- like a pair of sunglasses, sandals and a swimsuit. But a hat to shield your beautiful faces from the sun is CRUCIAL.

In times like these we look to inspiration from our Queen and last night she double downed on paparazzi protection with a pair of John Lennon inspired shades and this lovely hat by 'Lack of Color.'

Click right to buy into this glamorous look at Need Supply Co. For only $79 this hat is an obvious no brainer!

But if you care to have a look around before whipping out your wallet then why don't you take a look at some of our 'Flawless' favorites below?

The Bootylicious singer had a lemon sticker on her phone, a reference to her hit album Lemonade - which is filled with less than subtle references to her relationship with Jay.

Shunning interviews, both she and her husband prefer to let their lyrics do the talking - and Jay finally responded with words of his own this week.

Jay Z seemingly responded to Beyonce's hints that he had cheated on her in Fat Joe And Remy Ma's All the Way Up remix, which hit the internet on Tuesday after its debut at the Yankee Stadium.

Featuring on the song, he raps: 'You know you made it when the fact/ Your marriage made it is worth millions/ Lemonade is a popular drink, and it still is/ Survival of the littest.'

The couple sent the internet into overdrive at the end of April when the 34-year-old beauty released her hour-long visual album in which she hinted her spouse had been cheating on her with a woman named Becky.

In one track, Sorry, Beyonce sang: 'Looking at my watch he should have been home/ I regret the day I put that ring on.

'He always got them f***ing excuses/ He only want me when I'm not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair.'

The couple married in 2008 and have four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together. But they have been rocked with affair allegations for years.

However, although many fans were quick to lash out at the rapper for his alleged behaviour, some people believe the whole album may just be a publicity stunt to rake in cash.

Though speculation is still rife, almost four weeks on from the release, it's thought the couple are planning to address the claims on a forthcoming secret album.

A source said recently: 'Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade. It's more their style to respond through music.'
