She is known to put on an expressive display during gigs - mostly due to her lewd language.

And Adele once again stunned her audience into silence when she forgot the lyrics to her own song during a concert in Lisbon, Portugal last week.

The 27-year-old Someone Like You hitmaker was singing A Million Years Ago when she suffered the mishap which led to her turning the air sufficiently blue. 

Adele has been known to suffer some tumbles over her lyrics and the latest video, posted by Skalcute YouTube channel, shows an absolutely hilarious moment in which she realises her mistake. 

With her famed honeyed tones and phenomenal range, the perfectly made-up star as she belts out a track in the clip which has surfaced on Twitter. 

After singing just a few words, the London-born beauty cracks a smile and laughs to the audience as her sides splits with laughter. 

The endearing star said: 'S**t, s**t, s**t. Should I sing the right words? Sorry! I started singing the words instead of the chorus.'

She also expressed her love for Beyonce on stage in Copenhagen last week, Adele had a fan girl moment over her idol Beyonce following the release of the latter's visual album Lemonade.

Adele told the crowd: 'Have we got any Beyonce fans in the crowd tonight? How is it even possibly that she only ever gets better? How is that possible?

She really is rolling in the deep now... the first night of Adele's tour kicked off in Belfast and this fabulous singer has got a long way to go.

But she, of course, started things off in style, choosing a custom Burberry gown for the big opening night and she looked breathtaking.

The piece was clearly inspired by the multicolored sequin mini sent down the pre-fall runway and was made into a more dramatic gown for the singing legend.

In some lights, the dress looked almost plain black glitter, but it was in fact embellished with an array of colorful sequins which really added the wow factor to Adele's beautiful dress.

Currently on the European leg, she is due to take on North America over the summer, before wrapping up the tour in Mexico in November.  

Adele's last album 25 shifted 3.38 million copies in its first week of release in the US, compared to 485,000 copies of Beyonce's Lemonade.

Obviously, Beyonce has only just released her sixth album so still has time to catch up, while Adele's 25 went on sale last November and has shifted 19m copies so far.
