The backless dress was patterned with silver, black and red squares and circles and dotted with studs, and included diaphanous sleeves.

Diane accentuated her long slim legs even more by adding a pair of black gladiator-style stiletto heels.

She completed the look with a thin black choker and left her dark blonde hair loose

Make it metallic in an embellished mini dress like Diane

When it comes to red carpet dressing, Diane Kruger never misses a beat. And at a screening in Berlin for her latest movie, Sky, there was no exception. The German beauty wore a custom made dress by Marc Jacobs with a pair of lace up pumps.

Diane's metallic mini had a futuristic vibe that we simply adore. Covered in round and square shaped embellishments, the textured frock had a structured silhouette and pointy shoulders.

We're adding a silver dress like Diane's to the top of our wish list this season. It will look great with a pair of strappy black sandals or some thigh high boots when the temperate drops.

The German actress wore dark shadow on her eye-lids and added lashings of black mascaraa and brown eye-brow pencil.

She wore just a touch of pink-hued blush and a dash of dark pink lip color.

And while her longtime beau Joshua Jackson has a cameo in the movie, which has already been released in North America, he wasn't with her at the red carpet event. Nor was her co-star Norman Reedus.

Instead she was joined by the film's writer and director Fabienne Berthaud and producers Gabrielle Dumon, Petra Mueller, Christoph Friedel and Claudia Steffen.
