Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring flashes her cleavage as she and Coronation Street's Kym Marsh lead the TV stars heading to London for 2016 British Soap Awards

The will ooze glamour when they attend the 2016 British Soap Awards in London this evening.

But some of the soap world's biggest names opted to cut some remarkably casual figures as they headed down to the Big Smoke from Manchester Piccadilly station on Saturday afternoon, though Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring seemingly couldn't resist rocking a look that was a little more daring than her counterparts.

The 37-year-old actress opted to show off her red carpet ready tan in a sleeveless denim dress that flashed more than just a hint of cleavage.

Making sure she travelled in style, Stephanie flaunted some serious skin in the design, with the nude bra she sported beneath slightly visible as she opted to button down the top of the garment to make for a more plunging look.

She paired the summer appropriate number with black hi top trainers and instilled a welcome splash of colour into the look with a vivid lime green handbag.

The blonde beauty, who plays Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap, certainly wasn't travelling light for her weekend sojourn as she also wheeled along a suitcase that was no doubt carrying her glamorous frock for this evening's awards.

The soap stunner opted to keep her hair and make-up pared-back for her journey as she tied her tresses back into a messy bun and appeared to keep her cosmetic palette neutral from what was visible beneath her aviator sunglasses.

But Stephanie was just one of many TV stars in a train station that was brimming with faces from the small screen - though there was one particular face the star may not have wanted to run into as the actress' former love rival Kym Marsh was also pictured hauling her luggage through the station.

The 39-year-old star - who was previously engaged to Stephanie's former flame Dan Hooper, with whom the Hollyoaks star shares five-year-old daughter Lexi - was clad casually for the occasion.

Keeping her style simple, she slipped on a pair of distressed skinny jeans, which she teamed with a paisley print T-shirt and trainers.

Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the ITV soap, who was joined by her daughter Emily Mae, 19, seemingly hadn't anticipated the relatively warm weather as she sported a longline cardigan and carried her leather jacket over her arm.

Like Stephanie, she too kept her make-up look simple and allowed her raven strands to fall effortlessly around her face.

It was claimed the former singer and Stephanie had to be kept out of the way of one another during last year's Soap Awards, which came just weeks after Kym had ended her engagement to personal trainer Dan, who she began dating just a few months after his split from Stephanie.

Meanwhile, Kym was just one of a flurry of Coronation Street stars on their way to tonight's ceremony, as co-stars Debbie Rush and Colson Smith were also sauntering through the station.

The former Hear'Say singer's ex-husband Jamie Lomas was pictured hopping on a train, with the actor recently making his return to Hollyoaks as bad boy Warren Fox.

Together Jamie and Kym share daughter Polly, five.

The British Soap Awards airs on Sunday May 29 at 8pm on ITV.
