'I will never give up on you': Tamra Judge promotes documentary about being 'erased' from child's life by family court... after years of estrangement from daughter Sidney

She first revealed the tense relationship with her daughter Sidney on the October reunion show for her Bravo reality series Real Housewives Of Orange County. 

And now Tamra Judge has announced that she is taking part in a documentary which focuses on parents and children who have been 'erased' from each other's lives by family court after divorce.

On Friday, the 48-year-old shared a photo to Instagram which showed her staring seriously into the camera lens, while holding a piece of paper with '#Erased Mom' written across it.

In the accompanying caption, Tamra wrote: 'Erasing family is a documentary in the making that will show how family court #erase loving parents after #divorce causing #parentalalienation and #familybondobstruction .

'If you are a child of alienation or a parent being alienated please visit their Facebook @erasingfamily & www.ErasingFamily.org #iwillnevergiveuponyou.'

Tamra revealed that she never sees her 17-year-old on her TV show last year, explaining that her custody battle with ex-husband Simon destroyed their relationship.

The former couple, who share Sidney, Spencer, 15, and Sophia, 10, split up and had a nasty divorce in 2011.

While Simon has full custody of their eldest child, Tamra shares joint custody of their two younger teenagers.

The reality star - who is now married to her third husband Eddie Judge - said Sidney confronted her one day and said: 'I don't want to live with you anymore.'

'She basically left home that day and two years later has not come back,’ Tamra sobbed, insisting she had 'no idea where it was coming from.'

'I went to court to get her help - and he fought me not to get her help. And he won. The judge said, ''She’s 17, she can choose who she wants to live with'' - and that’s it.’

Tamra added that to make matters worse, Spencer lives with her and refuses to speak to his father. 'So the whole family is just so separated,' she shared on the special.

Unfortunately the star talking so publicly about her fraught relationship with her daughter did not go down well with Sidney, who said she was 'disappointed' by her mother's words in a Facebook post.

She wrote: 'I try not to talk about personal family matters with my friends, but I was made aware that my mother was talking about me and discussing our personal family matters on the show again.' 

'At this point I think it is necessary to tell the truth since she does not know how to tell the truth.' 

The teen then went on to slam her mother for her 'embarrassing' behaviour, writing: 'Obviously, I am just another storyline that feeds her fame and her wallet.'

Sidney wrote: 'For the past two years I’ve been asking her to stop treating me badly, to stop doing embarrassing [sic] and talking about me on the show, and to not use my siblings and I as storylines.

'Clearly she hasn’t followed through with anything that would have made me go back to her house. After telling her this for two years in consoling [sic], she still hasn’t recognized that these problems are between her and I and continues to make this about my father and her.' 

On Sidney's 17th birthday in November, Tamra shared a photo of the two of them together on Twitter, along with the caption: 'Happy birthday @sidney_barney . I love you so very much. I hope your day if filled with love and joy. #17.

The bravolebrity - who also has 30-year-old son Ryan from a previous relationship - then tweeted: 'Today is going to be a tough day ... God you got this ......right? I'm putting it in your hands.'
