Helena Christensen's love affair with her adorable new puppy continued on Friday as she stepped out with the pooch and a pal in New York City.

The supermodel, 48, brought the miniature Australian Shepherd home two weeks ago and has doted on her ever since.

However, she let her friend carry the dog as they went on a coffee run in the West Village.

The Danish beauty was casually dressed for the warm day in a scoop-necked semi-sheer white top paired with a black overall dress belted at the waist.

She added a pair of two-tone sandals and carried a purse slung over one shoulder as she walked with a beverage to go in each hand.

Her red-haired friend wore a blue denim shirt and matching denim shorts along with a pair of bright red lace-up shoes.

Always stylish: The Danish supermodel, 48, was simply dressed in a cool white cotton top paired with a black overalls dress belted at the waist and some two-tone sandals

Well trained already! The cute pup happily strolled along between Helena and her friend, who was holding the leash

That's my dog! The natural beauty kept a close eye on Kuma as she strolled along with her beverage. She had her brunette locks tied into a messy bun and wore tortoiseshell-framed sunglasses

Cool for summer: Helena accessorized with a thin neck chain and a couple of bracelets and carried a purse over one shoulder

Helena, who has a son Mingus, 16, with her ex Norman Reedus, has had several friends drop by since she got her new puppy.

A week ago she shared an artsy black and white selfie with fellow model Martha Hunt who had the pup clutched to her shoulder.

'This sweet girl came by for a lil puppy hangout,' Helena wrote alongside the snap she posted on her Instagram.

The Australian Shepherd has one blue eye and one brown, a common feature in the multi-colored breed.

She also took to Instagram to let her fans know that she'd decided to call the new addition to her family Kuma, explaining it means bear in Japanese.

Adorable! Helena has posted several photos on her Instagram of her new pup including this one a week ago. 'One of us is totally getting an afternoon snooze. The other, not so much...' she wrote

'Puppy hangout': Not surprisingly, the model's pals are keen to visit and meet the new pup, and Helena posted this pic on her Instagram showing Victoria's Secret Angel Martha Hunt snuggling with Kuma
