Work of some designer diggers? Kanye West robbed after thieves break into rapper's creative studio

Looks like he has another reason for lamenting about not having and Real Friends.

Kanye West's creative studio was targeted by thieves - and the star's camp fear it was an inside job.

TMZ reports the 38-year-old's Calabasas, California, office was robbed Monday night.

The break in was discovered the next day and police were called to the property where they found a door had been pried open overnight.

Kanye was in London at the time and did not fly back into Los Angeles until late Tuesday.

Police sources told TMZ that the thieves made off with laptops and desktop computers worth $20,000.

While that is expensive enough, the theft could have cost the husband of Kim Kardashian a lot more it if were not for some forward thinking by his team.

The computers all potentially had different projects that Kanye was working on them including new music and even design ideas for his coveted - and high counterfeited - clothing lines.

However, Kanye sources told TMZ that they had 'heavy-duty tech security' so that none of the sensitive material on the computers can be accessed and leaked.

Due to the nature of the theft Kanye's team believes it could have been an inside job as it looked as if it had been carried out by someone who knew what was in the office, sources told TMZ.

This is not the first time the Gold Digger rapper has been targeted, back in 2012 thieves broke into Kanye's Hollywood Hills home, after he just put it on the market.

The singer was overseas on tour and police were unable to tell if anything had been stolen.

This has not been a good month for thefts and those in love with a Kardashian, earlier this month Blac Chyna's safe was robbed with the model and beau Rob Kardashian telling police $200,000 was missing.
