Sources claim the actor screamed at her: 'You're making a fool out of me,' as he suspected that Heard grew closer to the 23-year-old British model and went out partying with her. His suspicions were reportedly sparked at the end of 2014, as the pair's friendship strengthened while Depp, 52, was renting a North London mansion.

The photos (pictured inset), submitted by wife Amber Heard (right) as part of her restraining order against the actor, show the aftermath of what she claimed was a terrifying row in which Depp, 52, allegedly swung a wine bottle 'like a baseball bat' while 'screaming obscenities.' Heard's pal and neighbor, Raquel Rose Pennington, said she was present on May 21 when a dangerous mix of cocaine and booze turned Depp into a violent animal who smashed his own home up.

Johnny Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, claimed 30-year-old Heard is 'attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse,' according to court documents. In a written response to the court, Wasser also said Heard's request for a temporary restraining order and financial support 'appears to be in response to the negative media attention she received earlier this week'. Depp's mother died three days before Heard filed for divorce on Monday. Heard is seeking spousal support, but Depp's response to her declaration of petition for a restraining order filed on Wednesday asked the judge to deny the request. 'Amber is a successful model and actress who earns her own income and is capable of supporting herself,' Wasser said.

Hundreds of residents have managed to flee the extremist stronghold of Fallujah with Iraqi forces surrounding the city and on the verge of launching a new offensive today. A troop build-up has been completed around Fallujah with the last battalion having arrived at dawn today at the sprawling Tariq Camp. Major Dhia Thamir, of the Special Forces Service, said troops have recaptured 80 percent of the territory around the city since the operation began a week ago.

New Orleans Pelicans star Bryce Dejean-Jones has been shot dead after allegedly breaking into an apartment. The 23-year-old NBA player died on Friday evening after he was shot in the abdomen. A resident of an apartment in Dallas, Texas, told police he heard someone kick down his door shortly after 3am. He told police that he grabbed his gun and shot Dejean-Jones when he entered his bedroom. Police found the basketball player in a pool of blood in a hallway outside the apartment. He was taken to hospital but could not be saved. Cops are treating the death as a homicide.

On the surface Russian family Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko appear like any other ordinary couple, but for their 23-year-old bear named Stepan. Standing at more than seven foot, the 300lb mammal is so domesticated the family often sit down together in the evenings to watch television. And the bear, which was adopted by the couple when he was three months old, has even been known to help out around the house - or at least in the garden - by watering the plants. According to the couple, Stepan stocks up on a hefty 25kg of fish, vegetables and eggs a day and likes nothing more than a 'cuddle'.

De Heredia was arrested on April 27 at London's Gatwick Airport, after flying to England from his hideout in Spain to visit his mother and sister.

This shocking dashcam footage shows the moment a car careered across a highway (left, circled) in Delaware before colliding with four other vehicles, killing the driver. Sarah Baird (inset left), 62, lost control of her 2001 Volvo S60 and spun across into the opposite lane of the Del 1, smashing into oncoming traffic. Ms Baird, who was wearing her seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, while her 63-year-old male passenger survived and is recovering in hospital. The Volvo crashes into a red 2016 Jeep Wrangler, sending it flying into the air and off of the highway. Another car behind the Jeep slams on the brakes to avoid the chaos, but in doing so is rear-ended by a GMC Terrain SUV. A woman driving a Chevrolet and towing a horse trailer tried to avoid both collisions but smashed into Baird's spinning Volvo.

Sonia Ulrich, Marla Saltzer and Monica Kenyon were out for dinner in Santa Monica when they allege they noticed a man pour a substance into his companion's drink as they shared a bottle of wine. The man allegedly slipped something in the woman's drink while she was in the bathroom so Sonia raced to the lady's room to tip off the unsuspecting victim. The woman was able to order a new drink and the three women tipped off a manager who allegedly reviewed security footage showing incident. Santa Monica police allegedly detained the man and the woman was able to leave unharmed.

A report into the death of Geraldine Largay, 66, said she frequently got lost while hiking the trail in Maine, got flustered after making a mistake and did not know how to use a compass. However, her family have hit back at that characterization of her, saying journal entries prove she was 'lucid and thinking of others' right up until she died. Largay wandered off the Appalachian Trail on July 23 before dying some time after August 18. Her remains were not discovered until fall last year (right).

Bizarre video set to creepy music in China shows the dog riding the tricycle with its back legs. Two of the canine's mates, seemingly a couple of Bichon Frises, happily ride along in the carriages. The strange video of the pets was posted on LiveLeak on Sunday. Commenters under the video are split on whether they think the stunt is cute or cruel.

Some of the world's most passionate comic book fans dressed up as Ghostbusters (top left) and Stormtroopers as the famous Comic Con event continued in east London today. Tickets for the glamorous occasion at the Excel Centre in east London were sold out today and as many as 135,000 die-hard enthusiasts are expected to descend on the capital for the three-day event. Characters from comic books, hit movies, cartoons and computer games all came together and posed next to each other to show off their fantastic costumes. Two women dressed up at the second day of the popular event (bottom left) and another woman wore leather and had her face painted to celebrate the occasion (bottom left).
