Speaking about the products, which include hair removal tools such as Braun Silk-expert IPL, the beauty icon said: 'Feeling ready to face the day head-on is super important in my life.

'I’m a busy working woman, and whether I’m at a yoga class, on a red carpet or in a business meeting, I’m often on show and feeling totally in control of my beauty gives me the confidence to perform at my best.

'Like most women, I don’t have the time to run around town to endless beauty appointments, so the great thing about Braun is that their products give me the power to control my own beauty routine.

'I love having smooth, silky skin every day because it makes me feel really good about myself.

'With Braun, there’s no need for "in-between" beauty days which means I know that my hair and skin will always look their best, and in turn, help me make the most of my day.'

Jessica is said to own between 15 to 20 per cent of the business, which has been valued at $1.7billion (£1.16million).

However back in April, Honest Company was forced to vehemently deny claims their baby food was not organic following a lawsuit filed that same month.

American advocacy group Organic Consumers Association alleged that Honest Company's Premium Infant Formula contains 11 synthetic ingredients, including some which haven't been 'assessed as safe for human foods'.

The company hit back with a blog post, writing: 'It is unfortunate... Just know that it will not distract or deter us from our mission of helping families build happy and healthy lives.'

It also faced a backlash two years previously when customers complained that the brand's sunscreen was not effective.

Many took to social media to angrily share their complaints, with one man writing: 'I got sunburnt and I was outside with organic honest company sunscreen on for less than an hour [sic].'

Another woman added: 'No offense to @Honest, but I will NEVER use your sunscreen again!! After applying it LIBERALLY every hr, my baby girl is burnt!! Not happy!!'

Again the company responded with a blog post, writing: 'We have a dedicated team of Honest employees, parents, and partners who carefully reviewed our Sunscreen product to make sure that it meets our highest standards prior to release.'
