Tweed all about it: Mollie King teams velvet low-cut vest with brown wide-legged suit as she joins boyfriend David Gandy at GQ Christmas lunch

Saturdays singer Mollie King channelled a very autumnal look when she joined her model boyfriend David Gandy at the GQ awards dinner on Tuesday. 

The couple were pictured heading to the German Gymnasium together, with Mollie, 28, wearing a brown tweed wide-legged trouser suit. 

She teamed the number with a low-cut velvet vest top for the occasion, carrying a matching clutch bag in her hand.

Her boyfriend, 35, looked equally as smart, wearing a blue three-piece Thom Sweeney suit and contrasting checked tie. 

He stepped out wearing a pair of two-tone brown brogues as he walked a separately to his blonde partner.

The couple dating from April 2011, to February 2012, before getting back together in 2014.

However, they remain fairly private about their life together, with Mollie telling The Evening Standard that she doesn't want to share pictures of themselves via social networking. 

She said: 'I never put up too personal pictures, like me with the boyf or anything like that. But I do things like "here's me at home eating a pancake."'

They were in good company on the day as they were joined by rapper Tinie Tempah who wore a pea coat, skinny jeans and military-style boots. 

Mollie tweeted earlier in the week that she had been ill with a cold and housebound. 

Posting a picture of a still from Steve Martin movie, Father Of The Bride, she tweeted: 

'When you're clogged up with cold & studio is cancelled, BUT your favourite film comes on TV! ....Thank you,'
