She's getting away from it all on an idyllic break in Hawaii.

And Amy Schumer looked the picture of sun-kissed joviality as she enjoyed another day on the beach in Honolulu on Wednesday.

Sporting a mininal yet stylish navy blue swimsuit, the star - who was celebrating her 35th birthday - appeared fully relaxed as she sauntered across the beach after taking a dip in the sea.

Showing off her lovley shapely curves, the retro one-piece swimming costume was a perfect style for the Trainwreck star.

The mostly backless number included a crossover strap at the back and a cleavage-baring low plunging neckline, which proved almost precarious as she later leant forward while drying herself, her generous chest nearly spilling out and over.

The dark all-in-one also served well to accentuated her hourglass physique, the style skimming over her healthy, shapely waist and hips.

As one of the more body-confident stars in Hollywood, Amy bore a huge smile on her pleasantly cosmetics-free face, flaunting her toned pins as she strode up and down the wettened sand.

Her long blonde tresses were tied up in a utilitarian high top knot for the day of sun, sea and sand, and she also sensibly went without a scrap of make-up on, her self-assurance one of her most attractive assets.

Later in the day, the fair-skinned star sported a wide-brimmed straw hat and shades as she took a phone call, making sure to protect herself from the blazing sunshine on the Hawaiian coastline.

But the outspoken funnywoman hasn't taken a break from sharing her views and hitting back at her critics as, earlier this week, she was forced to respond to nay-sayers who criticised her swimsuit-clad body on Instagram.

She wrote: 'I meant to write 'good morning trolls!' I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone. 

'This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!'

Directly slamming her body critics is nothing new for the star, who is best known for her work as a comedian, actress, producer and writer. 

She told Glamour magazine it was 'not cool' in another Instagram post last month for mentioning her in an issue focused on plus size fashion.

Amy wrote that there's nothing wrong with being plus-size, but disputed having a plus-size body, suggesting that labeling her body type that way could have a negative influence on young girls.

'I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America,' she wrote.

'I go between a size 6 and an 8. @glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me. 

'Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous (sic).'
