Fans were left devastated by her premature death from a drug overdose more than four years ago. 

But now devotees of the late Whitney Houston can get their hands on some of the star's most treasured items, including her wedding dress and her first passport.

A collection of the late star's stage costumes, personal belongings, clothes and awards are up for sale online via Heritage Auctions. 

Fans can place bids ahead of the live auction of 24 June and one of the most sought after items is expected to be the custom-made Marc Bouwer gown the singer wore for her wedding to Bobby Brown in 1992 in the grounds of her estate in Mendham, New Jersey.

It's billed as a high-necked floor-length ivory satin gown with built in 'carnival' bodice and full-length sheer nylon sleeves. 

The gown has a silk mesh overlay which is intricately decorated with iridescent sequins and bugle beads in various elaborate floral motifs. 

It comes with a pair of embellished matching satin sleeves and a beaded and sequined cloche hat, and a floor-length sheer white silk veil decorated with semi-round pearlescent beads. 

The ensemble is expected to fetch a minimum of $7,000 (£4,800), something of a bargain price as it originally set the singer back $40,000 (£27,700).

Whitney was found dead in a bathtub at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, aged just 48, on February 11, 2012. 

Her estate has released the items and provided a certificate of authenticity with each lot.

The outfit is expected to sell for $3,000 (£2,073) or more.

Whitney's wedding dress designer Marc Bouwer was one of her favourites and also made many of her stage costumes.

She wore the costume during her 1991 I'm Your Baby Tonight tour, and it's predicted to sell for at least $2,000 (£1,385).

The opening bid for the pink, purple, black, and red fur coat is $1,500 (£1,038).

D&G exclusively designed all Whitney's outfits for the tour, and another of their coats is expected to sell for at least $2,000 (£1,380).

Sequins were applied by hand and it took four workers two weeks working 'day and night' to complete the task. 

Whitney made a deal with Dolce & Gabbana to exclusively design all the clothing for the tour, meeting with the famous designers in New York several times for consultations and fittings to make sure that each item - be it a gown, hat, shoe, or belt - was perfect.

Issued on February 19 1985 and cancelled 2 September 2 1994, it bears the star's 'Whitney Elizabeth Houston' signature. 

It includes stamps and visas that char the singer's first international tours to countries such as Japan, Brazil, Holland, France and the UK. 

It's valued at a minimum of $1,000 (£692).
