In her younger days, she graced many a pop music magazine cover with her Spice Girls co-stars.

But in 2016, Victoria Beckham is a seriously stylish force of fashion to be reckoned with, and her latest cover is one of her most glamorous yet.

The 42-year-old fashion designer looks beautiful on the front of the June Hong Kong Tatler, wearing her own designs in her favourite shade: black.

Sitting on a unique wooden bench and with a slight Mona Lisa-style smile on her face, Victoria cut an elegant figure as she showed off her credentials as not just a top designer, but a model also.

She wore a flattering ribbed black knit underneath a crisp, tailored jacket in the same dark shade, the items teamed with a mid-length black skirt with a bias cut.

While acting as her own best advertisement for her classic yet modern designs, Victoria wore her brunette locks twisted into a chic chignon with a slight lift at the crown, her eyes lined with a smudged application of black kohl.

Along with the cover, which she revealed proudly on her Instagram page on Thursday, the wife of David Beckham gushed: 'Thank u @hongkongtatler and @wingshya for this June cover! Fun in Hong Kong with these inspiring women @baobaowan #GuoJingjing and #GigiChao.

While there is not yet a sneak peek inside the new edition of the Hong Kong-based fashion tome, fans will be expecting a high-fashion, glossy editorial from the mother-of-four who, in recent years has covered publications such as Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.

Meanwhile, Victoria's fashion savvy shows no limits as - as well as having an incredibly successful fashion line - she also designed her best friend Eva Longoria's wedding dress for her nuptials last week.

In pictures released on the former pop star's Instagram page in recent days, she was seen posing with Eva behind the scenes at her wedding to Jose 'Pepe' Baston while doing up her gown, a gorgeous silk crepe white number.

It pays to have friends in high places. You'll often spot Eva Longoria in pieces from her good friend Victoria Beckham's eponymous collection so it was no big shock that she tapped the pop singer turned designer to craft her wedding dress.

The stunning white gown had all of the markings of a VB original - a flattering cut, understated elegance, and just a hint of sex appeal with the sweetheart neckline.

The talented designer also designed and made another dress for the post-dinner celebrations, and a third for a civil ceremony the day before.

Victoria, 42, was also a witness at the civil ceremony and, during an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine, the new Mrs Longoria Baston explained how she came to have 'a Victoria Beckham weekend'.

She said: 'I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love - and I knew that Victoria would make it with love.

'Victoria was one of my witnesses too. She signed the paper that says I was here - so it was a Victoria Beckham weekend.'

The actress-turned-producer added: 'She was the best, sweetest person to have there on this day.

'Not only did she do my wedding dress but she's one of my best friends so for her to be there was so special.'

The two women became close when the Beckhams lived in Los Angeles while David was playing for the Major League Soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy.
