Jerry Seinfeld certainly had a date with an angel.

The 62-year-old legendary comedian was accompanied by his wife Jessica who looked fantastic in white as they attended a Chanel Fine Jewelry dinner in New York.

The 44-year-old author looked radiant as she put her best fashion foot forward at the Treasures From The New York Public Library Collection event on Thursday night.

Her frock featured a frilly detailing around the shoulders and skirting along with a gold chain around the torso.

Jessica finished off the look with a pair of strappy beige leather heels featuring bows on it while accessorising with a pink leather clutch.

Her blonde tresses were worn in an updo with the fringe hanging down as she had natural, complimentary make-up on her face topped off with a swipe of pink lip.

Jerry looked dapper in a classic black suit with crisp white dress shirt, black tie and matching patent leather shoes.

The former star of Seinfeld was every bit the gentleman as he was pictured opening up the door for his ladylove when they made their grand entrance.

It is quite an exciting time in the couple's lives as her Baby Buggy nonprofit has been rebranded as GOOD+ Foundation.

And back in April, Jessica and Jerry were joined by their 15-year-old daughter Sascha as they celebrated the big change by being invited to ring the opening bell for the NASDAQ in the Big Apple.

'Such an exciting morning for us @goodplusfdn and my family,' Jessica, 44, wrote along side a photo of the trio.

The charity was started by Jessica after the birth of Sascha when she decided to find a way to give the baby clothes and items she no longer needed to mothers who couldn't afford to buy them.

To date, the nonprofit has given away 20 million much-needed items to families across the country.
