A true icon: Lincoln Townley's Icons art exhibition in Somerset House, London, was attended by one of the UK's most revered actors, Sir Michael Caine, and his wife Shakira on Thursday night
The 83-year-old appeared relaxed in a zipped up black jacket, suit trousers and leather shoes as he stood with one arm around his wife, 69, and the other tucked in his pocket.
Sir Michael clearly has an affinity for Lincoln's work, and the pair conversed in the exhibition space with the latter talking the star through his work.
They then made their way to the side of Michael's portrait for a snap which saw The Italian Job star flash a broad grin.

The colourful painting consists of Michael at two differing stages of his career: the beginning and the present day.
According to Lincoln's website: 'The present Michael Caine shares the canvas with his younger self, yet it is the older man that dominates the painting as the young actor looms as a vanishing presence over his shoulder.
'The effect is to create a sense of the accumulated skill and wisdom of one of the greatest creative lives of the twentieth century as we see the depth and power of the man behind the many roles he has made his own.'
