'I'm loving these extra curves!' New mum Katherine Webb shows off her already slender body just nine days after giving birth to baby Tripp

It doesn't look like she's got an inch to pinch anywhere on her lithe body.

But it seems former beauty queen and new mum Katherine Webb doesn't agree.

On Thursday, the 27-year-old posted a selfie in a tight grey T-shirt and black leggings, saying: 'Down 20, 24 more to go. Although, I am loving these extra curves #9dayspostpartum.'

The brunette beauty was presumably referring to how many pounds she has lost since welcoming her baby boy, Raymond Anthony McCarron III, to the world on May 24.

She shares the tot, whose nickname is Tripp, with her NFL star husband, AJ McCarron, 25.

The litle lad weighed in at 8lbs 1oz and is already tall at 21.5inches. 

But that's maybe not such a surprise given that his mum is 5ft 11ins and his dad is a towering 6ft 4ins quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals.

AJ posted a message on Instagram a few days after Tripp arrived, thanking everyone for the well wishes for their family and saying their tot 'has huge hands and feet already.'

Tripp is the first child for AJ and Katherine, a former Miss Alabama. 

The couple began dating in 2012 and married in July 2014 in a lavish ceremony by the Gulf shores Orange Beach, Alabama.

The pair announced in December that they were expecting their first child together, months after she opened up about the couple's struggle to conceive in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Katherine gained fame during her appearance at the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, when college football announcers began paying more attention to her beauty than what her then-boyfriend AJ was doing on the field. 

AJ, meanwhile, was the star quarterback at the University of Alabama, and was a runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2013.
