Amber Heard 'still loves Johnny Depp' and won't file police report because she 'doesn't want to bury him': Shocking new pictures show actress's bruised face 'after her ex assaulted her'

These are the harrowing photographs that Amber Heard claims prove Johnny Depp physically abused her more than once throughout their 15-month marriage.

The series of images were taken by Heard after an alleged attack in December 2015 which she said made her 'truly fear for my life'.

She is seen in the photographs with a dark bruise around one eye and a cut and swollen bottom lip.

But despite the alleged abuse, it has been reported that Heard will not report her estranged husband to police as she still loves him and 'doesn't want to bury him'.

In court documents, Heard highlights three specific incidents of abuse, in December 2015, on April 21 and on May 21.

But according to the 30-year-old actress, Depp was 'physically and verbally abusive' for the 'entirety' of their relationship. Depp strenuously denies the allegations.

However, sources close to Heard have told TMZ that the actress will not file a police report against because she still loves Depp.

Earlier this week, Heard's lawyer said her client would be reporting Depp to the LAPD, after smears against her character.

But according to the gossip website, the actress has had a 'change of heart' as she does not want to see Depp arrested or prosecuted.

Meanwhile, text messages reportedly exchanged between Heard and Depp's assistant have emerged, detailing alleged assaults by the actor.

Reports claim the messages were sent between Heard and Depp's assistant Stephen Deuters, and are from May 2014.

In one supposedly sent from Heard regarding a man alleged to be Depp she writes: 'He's done this many times before. Tokyo, the island, London (remember that?!), and I always stay.

'Always believe he's going to get better... And then every 3 or so month [sic], I'm in the exact same position.'

The never-before-seen texts start with the sender, alleged to be Deuters, who writes that the man alleged to be Depp, is 'incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong'.

'He wants to get better now. He's been very explicit about that this morning. Feel like we're at a critical juncture,' the message read.

The recipient, alleged to be Heard, then writes: 'Yes but I don't know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday. I don't know if I can stay with him.'

'He wants to see you so much. He's distraught,' the sender writes back.

The recipient responds, noting taking care of flights regarding some apparent travel plans before responding to the sender's other comments.

'Look, he thinks "he doesn't deserve this". Obviously he has no idea what he did or the extent that he did it,' the recipient writes.

'If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he'd be appalled. The man Johnny...,' the message read before being cut off.

The recipient continues: 'And definitely wouldn't say to me that he doesn't deserve it.

'I'm sad that he doesn't have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday.

'Unfortunately for me, I remember in full detail everything that happened.'

The sender then responds that the man, alleged to be Depp, did not have any memory of the incidents that transpired the day before.

'He was appalled. When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting. And he knows it. I wasn't with him when he...,' the message reads before being cut off.

The sender also writes about texts the man had supposedly sent to Heard.

'He read it to me and I said it was the wrong text to send. He then sent the 3rd one and sat and cried again after on the bed,' the sender wrote.

'He's a little lost boy. And needs all the help he can get. He is so very sorry, as he should be.'

But the recipient responds noting the man has 'done this many times before.'

'Tokyo, the island, London (remember that?!), and I always stay. Always believe he's going to get better...And then every 3 or so month [sic], I'm in the exact same position.'

Entertainment Tonight reported that it has reached out to both Deuters and Depp's representatives regarding the text exchange.

The text exchange dates back to before the estranged couple was married and years before Heard filed papers in court, claiming Depp 'has been verbally and physically abusive' for the 'entirety' of their relationship

It comes just days after Heard filed paperwork seeking a temporary restraining order in a California court.

'Johnny and Amber's relationship was always toxic,' a source close to the couple told People

'They got in so many fights.'

A source close to the actor added; 'Johnny tends to get moody and difficult and go into himself when things aren't right in a relationship. When he gets like that, he can act nasty. It doesn't made for a good marriage.'

Heard had reservations about the union even before the marriage according to one source, who claims the actress got 'cold feet' at the couple's engagement party.

The source added however;' 'When Johnny Depp wants you, you don't really say no.'

The source close to Depp meanwhile said that a divorce is the 'best outcome' for the couple, adding; 'Johnny and Amber should not be married.'

One of the main issues may have been Depp's jealousy according to one source, who said; 'He is very insecure when it comes to Amber. She likes to be free to do her own thing.

'She was really too young and experimental to settle down. Johnny knew this but was blown away by her.

'He was attracted to the same things about her that he couldn't handle.'

Page Six also had details of a December attack Heard allegedly suffered at the hands of Depp, though it is not clear if it is related to the one that caused the injuries Heard can be seen with in the latest photographs.

During that alleged attack, Depp tried to smother Heard with a pillow claims a friend of the actress.

Heard texted that friend during that alleged struggle, who later said; 'I got to her apartment to find her with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head.

'This incident really stuck with me because she confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow.'

The friend added; 'I have personally witnessed the aftermath of Johnny Depp's violent and abusive behavior towards her on many occasions.'

There is also an allegation that Depp punched a wall during a fight with Heard while he was filming last year, forcing him to take a month off from work.

Depp is said to have turned violent during an argument with Heard in March 2015 while he was working on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest in Australia.

He injured his hand during the reported confrontation in the apartment the couple were sharing and was forced to fly back to the United States for surgery according to Entertainment Tonight.

Depp had a pin inserted in one of his fingers and filming was halted for a month. His injury was reported at the time, but it wasn't clear how it had occurred.

Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp on Friday after accusing him of domestic abuse in a court filing.

A judge ruled that Depp must remain at least 100 yards away from Heard until their next hearing, which is scheduled for late June.

Heard was also granted the right to live in the family home, but failed in her bid for sole custody of one of the couple's dogs.

The judge ruled against Heard however in her attempt to collect spousal support from Depp and have him cover her attorney fees.

Heard had been asking for $50,000 (£34,500) a month in support from Depp, who she also asked to cover her legal fees.

In those papers the actress said her basic monthly income was around $10,000 (£6,900) while her expenses were $44,000 (£30,000), which included $10,000 for rent, $10,000 for 'entertainment, gifts and vacations' and $10,000 a month on miscellaneous costs such as pet supplies, and paying for her publicist and agent.

It was also revealed that Heard made $259,876 (£180,000) last year from her work in films including the Oscar-winning The Danish Girl ($31,112/£21,500) while also collecting checks from jewellery companies including Tiffany & Co. ($150,000/£104,000) and Bulgari ($50,000/£34,500).

The actress is set to make much more in the coming years from her movie projects however thanks to her role as Mera, Aquaman's love interest, in the upcoming Justice League and Aquaman movies.

Depp meanwhile is worth a reported $400million (£277million) and made $30million (£21million) in 2015 alone according to Forbes.

Since the couple is getting divorced in California, and there is no prenuptial agreement, Heard is entitled to half the money Depp made over the course of their relationship because of the state's 'community property' method for diving marital assets.

Heard looked stoic as she left the courthouse on Friday after being granted her restraining order on Friday, dressed down in a black dress and wearing no make-up.

The bruise that Heard alleged was the result of Depp's attack could still be seen on her face.

She did not stop to speak with reporters or members of the public and instead rushed into her waiting car.

Her lawyer briefly stopped to tell the crowd that her client was 'being very brave.'

Once she got into the car however cameras captured her as she broke down in tears and began to sob in the backseat of the vehicle.

Heard claims Depp offered her money to keep the incident that occurred on Saturday quiet, but she instead made the decision to file for divorce that Monday.

That was not an 'isolated event' either according to a source close to the couple, who told People; 'This was only the latest incident.'

She also has a video that allegedly shows Depp beating her according to TMZ.

Depp was not present in court on Friday as he is off touring with his band Hollywood Vampires at the Rock in Rio Lisboa concert in Portugal.

He was represented during the proceedings on Friday by his attorney Laura Wasser.

Depp reportedly 'shattered various objects' during the incident on Saturday, which occurred at the couple's apartment.

Heard was on the phone with a friend during the alleged fight and when Depp began to pull her phone away from her she told the person on the other line to call the police.

Depp was gone by the time they arrived but investigators did take a statement from Heard and write up a report.

The alleged fight occurred just one day after the death of Depp's mother Betty Sue Palmer, who passed away last Friday.

TMZ reports however that the two police officers on the scene claim that Heard had no visible injuries and never even mentioned Depp during the incident.

The two members of the Los Angeles Police Department reportedly examined Heard at her apartment to see if she was hurt and claim that she insisted that it was only a verbal argument that occurred between her and her partner.

Heard filed for divorce after just 15 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split in her petition.

Depp responded to Heard's petition on Wednesday asking that the court rule he should not be required to pay spousal support and requesting that his estranged wife pay her own attorney fees.

A representative for Depp said in a statement on Thursday; 'Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.

'Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.'
