It seems there is never a dull moment for Rihanna and her closet pal Melissa Forde.

The superstar took part in what appears to be a very sexy and impromptu photoshoot, with the results spread across her best friend's Instagram account for all to see on Wednesday.

In the series of sultry images, the 28-year-old singer looks sensational in a racy, plunging lace-up black swimsuit by Suga Apple Swimwear, her peachy derriere and long, lean legs on show as she poses up a storm.

The barely-there item of swimwear was cut so high on the bottoms it went above and beyond the line of her gently curved hips, revealing a tattoo across her rounded derriere and another on her right upper thigh.

Largely backless, the rather unpractical swimming costume also showed off her ample chest and flat, toned stomach with its plunging, front and lace-up sides, her sideboob also on display.

The tattoo between her breasts was also on show - an inking of the Goddess Isis - covered slightly with an array of dainty gold necklaces and a body chain.

Rihanna made sure to show off her best side in a couple of the images, flaunting her backside for the camera while stood in a low-key dining room, class of white wine in hand.

Showing off her silky, smooth and incredibly toned skin, she also caught the eye thanks to her naturally beautiful face turned towards the lens, her flawless appearance only added to with the slightest touch of make-up.

The stunning star's raven mane was scraped up into a high top-knot for the photo shoot, which also saw her get into a pool to continue exhibiting her tattoo-covered figure.

Sticking to a moody theme, Rihanna refused to raise a smile for her time in front of the camera, instead oozing sass and sex appeal while chucking out cursory glares, pouting all the while.
