Back in the saddle! Calvin Harris gets behind the wheel in wake of shock split from Taylor Swift... nearly two weeks after car accident

He sustained multiple injuries in a car crash two weeks ago.

But it seems like Calvin Harris is healthy again and ready to roll, as he was spotted driving himself to several appointments in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 32-year-old record spinner seemed calm and in control behind the wheel of his blacked out Range Rover.

It appears the solo outing was one of his first since the car crash left parts of him bruised and battered two weeks ago.

Last week Calvin admitted he was feeling 'lucky and very grateful' to have escaped serious injury in the collision in Los Angeles.

The star - real name Adam Wiles - was hospitalised and pulled out of a string of gigs in Las Vegas.

He was treated in hospital, but discharged himself, with a rep later saying he only had a 'scratch' on his nose.

The accident took place in LA's Coldwater Canyon on 21 May after a Volkswagen Beetle smashed into a black Cadillac SUV in which Calvin was a passenger.

Taylor Swift, 26, even skipped the high profile Billboard Music Awards to be at his side after he was injured.

Unfortunately it would apparently be one of the last times that the couple would spend together, as the pair, who had been dating for 15 months, announced a split earlier this week.

While initial reports cited an amicable split sans 'drama,' it was later claimed that Calvin just couldn't handle the singer's superstar status. He soon took to Twitter in an attempt to clear the air.

'The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,' he stated.
