Muhammad Ali has died aged 74, a day after he was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties. The legendary boxer died with his family at his side on Friday evening. It was earlier reported that Muhammad Ali's family had started making funeral arrangements after doctors warned that the legendary boxer was just hours from death. As widely known for his quick skills and moves inside the ring, Ali was also known for the dozens of inspiring, sometimes hilarious quotes he said throughout his life.

He always said he was 'the greatest' - and he was. First as Cassius Clay and then as Muhammad Ali, he was idolised and vilified in almost equal measure until he achieved the status of a global icon.

Heartfelt tributes were pouring in within minutes after family confirmed that legendary boxer Muhammad Ali died, aged 74. Ali, known simply as The Greatest, was admired and loved by the world, from politicians to sportsmen and fellow boxer Mike Tyson was one of the first to express his sadness. Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump also spoke out within minutes, tweeting: 'Muhammad Ali is dead at 74! A truly great champion and a wonderful guy. He will be missed by all!'. Ali's family said his funeral would be held in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, and thanked the public for their outpouring of support.

Isiah Gregg who crawled into Harambe's enclosure is seen for the first time

Isiah Gregg, the three-year-old who fell into the Cincinnati Zoo's gorilla enclosure last Saturday (bottom right) prompting the death of Harambe, has been seen with his family for the first time since the death. Isiah (left) has been staying at a house away from his normal home. His parents Michelle Gregg, 32, and Deonne Dickerson, 36, (top right) were questioned by police as part of their investigation into possible child neglect, but the police department has recommended they are not charged.

The baby has intestinal and visual issues.

Mark Salling arrives in court for start of child pornography case

Mark Salling pleaded not guilty to child pornography charges in a Los Angeles court on Friday afternoon. The Glee star was pictured walking in to the United States Courthouse for the Central District of California with his lawyer earlier that day in order to surrender to federal authorities, and walking out again hours later after posting $150,000 bail. He came prepared to post his bail as well, having been spotted leaving a Chase bank on Thursday carrying a check in the amount of $100,000 made out to the Clerk of the US District Court. Salling, 33, is facing up to 40 years in prison after a grand jury made the decision last week to indict him on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.

US Army Special Forces troops airlifted from one of Colorado's highest peaks

U.S. Army Special Forces troops were airlifted on Friday from a mountain peak inside Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park after two members of the team suffered altitude sickness during a training exercise, a military spokesman said. The team was climbing Longs Peak on Thursday when the soldiers became ill and the group was forced to camp overnight while on its way to the summit, Army Special Forces spokesman Lt. Col. Sean Ryan said in a telephone interview. It had originally been planned as a one-day climb, he said. Longs Peak has an altitude of 14,259 feet, according to a National Park Service website.

Guled Ali Omar, 21, Abdirahman Yasin Daud, 22, Mohamed Abdihamid Farah, 22 convicted Friday in Minneapolis. They were found guilty of plotting to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State.

Felder and his friend Everette 'Rhett' Carter Berry, 28, have been charged with crimes including conspiracy to possess and intent to distribute and to distribute a quantity of 3,4-Methylenedioxyethylcathinone Hydrochloride (commonly known as 'molly') and at least 50 kilograms of marijuana. Agents found photos of cash on the phones and in February the 27-year-old took the agents to his family's farm where they found $1,768,031 buried in bags.
