Muhammad Ali has died aged 74, a day after he was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties. The legendary boxer died with his family at his side on Friday evening. It was earlier reported that Muhammad Ali's family had started making funeral arrangements after doctors warned that the legendary boxer was just hours from death. His reported respiratory problems were likely complicated by his Parkinson's disease. He is pictured left in September 2011 at a gala in California which honoured him. The woman, who is unsure of how she contracted the virus, said that it may have happened because of a mosquito bite. She gave birth to a baby girl by cesarean section on Tuesday at Hackensack UMC. The baby has intestinal and visual issues.

Mark Salling pleaded not guilty to child pornography charges in a Los Angeles court on Friday afternoon. The Glee star was pictured walking in to the United States Courthouse for the Central District of California with his lawyer earlier that day in order to surrender to federal authorities, and walking out again hours later after posting $150,000 bail. He came prepared to post his bail as well, having been spotted leaving a Chase bank on Thursday carrying a check in the amount of $100,000 made out to the Clerk of the US District Court. Salling, 33, is facing up to 40 years in prison after a grand jury made the decision last week to indict him on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.

Alvaro de Miranda Neto, known as 'Doda,' was found in bed with a blonde at the couple's $2 million home the heiress bought in the horsey-heaven of Wellington, Florida. Even though Doda begged them not to - Athina's security team, who discovered the tryst, told their boss and she immediately packed her bags and went off to Europe. A video circulating social media this week captures a troubling trend that is happening in schools across the country - knockout hitting. The footage shows a teenager throwing a ping pong ball during a lab class at an unidentified high school. Within seconds, the student that was hit with the tiny ball follows the boy across the classroom (left) and suddenly hits him hard in the face (center). The victim then falls to the side and hits the ground, seemingly knocked out. The clip is one of many to appear online recently capturing schoolyard fights. Many are claiming the fights are only happening so that the videos can be put on social media

Alexandria Vera, 24, who allegedly got pregnant after sex with her 13-year-old student, was formally read the charges against her at an arraignment hearing in Houston, Texas, on Friday but did not enter a plea. Judge Michael T McSpadden told Vera she was to have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 17. He also ordered Vera - who is out on $100,000 bail - to wear a GPS monitor and to stay away from the school. Theformer teacher at Stovall Middle School was also banned from accessing the internet and put on a curfew to remain in her home between 8pm and 7am each day. Vera turned herself in to police on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child. She was released hours later after she posted a $100,000 bond.

U.S. Army Special Forces troops were airlifted on Friday from a mountain peak inside Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park after two members of the team suffered altitude sickness during a training exercise, a military spokesman said. The team was climbing Longs Peak on Thursday when the soldiers became ill and the group was forced to camp overnight while on its way to the summit, Army Special Forces spokesman Lt. Col. Sean Ryan said in a telephone interview. It had originally been planned as a one-day climb, he said. Longs Peak has an altitude of 14,259 feet, according to a National Park Service website.

Donald Trump predicted he would be receiving a huge amount of support from black voters in the upcoming presidential election during a speech in Redding, California on Friday. After telling the crowd he expected the turnout to be 'tremendous' on Election Day, Trump pointed to one black man in the crowd and said; 'Look at my African-American over here. Look at him.' The crowd responded to this by screaming and cheering for the candidate, who was wearing one of his signature baseball caps in camouflage for the campaign stop.

First Lady Michelle Obama took a veiled swipe at Donald Trump while delivering a passionate defense of immigration and diversity, in the final commencement address. She said we 'don't build up walls' and hailed the 'infusion of new cultures' in the U.S. She hit those with a 'different perspective,' without mentioning Trump by name. She made her remarks at the City College of New York, which has a diverse student body.

Two teenage girls are being accused of beating an elderly woman so severely that she had to be rushed to a New York City hospital. The young women were traveling together on a subway car Thursday afternoon when a 78-year-old passenger reportedly approached the two and asked one of them if she could take her feet off the seat in order to make room for her to sit down. Then, when the elderly woman got off at one of the next stations stops, the two teenagers allegedly followed her onto the subway platform and began to kick and punch her in her head and face before jumping on an approaching train and making their getaway.

The widow of a San Antonio man got the surprise of her life when a chance meeting led to the discovery that the baseball card collection her husband had left her was worth six figures. The woman, who did not wish to be identified, had left the cards where her husband placed them before his death in 2007: neatly filed and stacked in ringbinders and folders across shelf after shelf of a spare room. 'I've never seen so many - it's staggering,' card auctioneer Al Crisafulli told The Daily Mail - and he might never had had the opportunity, if it weren't for the widow's chance encounter at a Bible study class.

Bradley Lewis Felder (pictured), 27, a former Clemson outfielder pleaded guilty to federal drug charges after Drug Enforcement Administration agents dug up $2 million in cash buried on his family's farm. Felder was arrested on August 31 and agents promptly seized $1,481.90 in cash, a loaded .45 caliber pistol and two watches valued at $64,000 and $46,356 and multiple cell phones. Felder and his friend Everette 'Rhett' Carter Berry, 28, have been charged with crimes including conspiracy to possess and intent to distribute and to distribute a quantity of 3,4-Methylenedioxyethylcathinone Hydrochloride (commonly known as 'molly') and at least 50 kilograms of marijuana. Agents found photos of cash on the phones and in February the 27-year-old took the agents to his family's farm where they found $1,768,031 buried in bags.

Police are investigating the theft of a 'Ghost Bike' that was left as a memorial to honor Timothy Aloysius Holden, a retired U.S. Navy SEAL who was struck and killed by a car last year in Maryland. The all-white bicycle draped with an American flag is believed to have been stolen some time between May 26 and May 30, Montgomery County police said on Friday. The bike had been in the 6100 block of Massachusetts Avenue where it sat at the collision site of where 64-year-old Holden was killed while riding his bike on August 28, 2015.

Italian bodypainter, Johannes Stoetter, has amazed audiences with his latest trick of the eye involving three women that he decided to paint after meeting them at a bar. The 38-year-old, who has been crowned World Bodypainting Champion in the past, said it was a complex piece that required the women to stay intertwined for long periods of time. 'It was difficult to find the perfect position and it was quite hard for the models to hold the positions, from time to time they needed a break,' he said.

Martin Duram, 45, was shot and killed in his home in Sand Lake in May 2015 in what police initially believed was a double-homicide, however his wife Glenna - who was also shot - ended up surviving. The victim's family believe Glenna killed her husband in an attempted murder-suicide, and that their pet parrot not only witnessed the shooting of Duram, but has proof. The bird, named Bud, would mimic everything Martin said, and has not stopped saying 'don't f---ing shoot' since his owner's death. 'I personally think he was there and he remembers it and he was saying it,' Charles Duram told WOOD TV.
