The Oscar winning actress looked much younger than her years as she opted for a black jumper over a crisp white shirt underneath the statement outerwear.

A slim-leg pair of grey roll up trousers looked sensational on her figure and she racked up style points by teaming it with heeled suede boots.

Her silver-blonde locks were slicked down to perfection and ended in a flick, while her face was adorned with a funky pair of specs.

A thin layer of make-up application only enhanced her youthful glow as she got in to character, which saw her walk briskly behind Gleeson, who sported a cane.

Wearing a khaki coloured jacket and a backpack slung on his other arm, Brendan looked deep in the scene with his The Godfather co-star as the camera crew captured their every move from behind.

As soon as she was done with the scene, the production team ensured the actress was wrapped up warm in a long black padded jacket.

The romantic comedy Hampstead stars Emmy-winning actor Gleeson as Donald, who has lived 'quietly and harmoniously on the Heath for 17 years'.

His path crosses with American widow Emily Walters, played by Diane, who helps Donald face property developers 'who've started using heavy-handed tactics to remove him'.

While it is not known whether David will triumph over Goliath in the film, Mr Hallowes - who the film is based on - has already had his own happy ending worthy of any feel-good flick.

Mr Hallowes was declared the legal owner of his 90ft-square patch on the north-east edge of the heath eight years ago, when his own property-developing nemesis tried to have him evicted.

His squat is in the grounds of Athlone House nursing home, which was sold to the property developers Dwyer International by Kensington and Chelsea Hospital NHS Trust in 2003.

To gain planning permission for a block of luxury flats, Dwyer agreed to donate a strip of woodland, which included Mr Hallowes' half-acre, to the Corporation of London, which manages the heath.

Dwyer began proceedings to evict Mr Hallowes in March 2005 but dropped the case after it was proved that he had lived there for more than 12 years and could therefore not be removed.

Mr Hallowes, nicknamed 'Harry the Hermit' by local newspapers, was awarded squatters' rights and declared the legal owner by the Land Registry.
