It comes a day after the star was accused of photoshopping an image that appeared on her Instagram feed.

The black-and-white photo in question pictured Meghan posing in front of the Louvre, which was partially covered by an art installation that mimicked the likeness of the famous structure.

Thanks to an optical illusion, one fan was fooled into thinking that Meghan had photoshopped the image, prompting them to comment: 'singer complains about photoshopped video... Posts a photoshopped picture? Buildings and sky different colours on the left'.

Megan immediately responded to the accusation via Twitter by writing: Not photoshopped. Took it on my snapchat. Can't photoshop snaps', alongside a smirking face emoji.

The fan's comment was referring to Meghan's latest film clip, which was controversially altered post-production to make her waist appear smaller.

The sassy singer admitted to ET that she actually gave the tick of approval for the release of her recent Me Too music video, in which her waist has been edited to appear smaller.

Speaking of the clip on Tuesday, Meghan revealed that gave the OK before she realised that her frame had been slimmed down by editors.

'We didn't have a lot of time for this video and we had to wrap it around pretty quick. They had like a day to get beauty and colour done'.

'I take full blame for not seeing it. I approved a version, but I remember we were so focused on the car scene for a lot of takes, because they had filters over it to make it look like a video recording,' she shared', she explained.

Megan also took to Snapchat to apologise for the mistake, saying: 'Hey guys, I took down the Me Too video because they Photoshopped the crap out of me. And I'm so sick of it and I'm over it, so I took it down until they fix it.'

'My waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night, I don't know why they didn't like my waist, but I didn't approve that video and it went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed.'

Meghan added: 'When I saw it out, the fans were posting pictures of it, and I said, 'Why are fans, like, Photoshopping my waist?' And then I said, "Oh god, is that the video?" Then I freaked out and called everyone.'

She then went on to explain that she immediately demanded that the video be taken down and fixed by the production company.
