Where's the mini van? Sarah Jessica Parker swaps her fashionista lifestyle for soccer mom chic ahead of son James's game

She's accustomed to a life of walking red carpets in dazzling designer gowns and elaborate couture ensembles.

But Sarah Jessica Parker looked right at home as she slipped into mom duty while taking son James to his soccer game in New York City on Saturday.

The Sex and the City star stuck closely by her 13-year-old son with husband Matthew Broderick as they sauntered off to a nearby soccer field in the Big Apple's West Village.

While James looked ready to score a few goals in his sporty cardinal and orange uniform and turquoise soccer ball, Sarah Jessica prepared for a long day of supporting her little boy with a magazine and refreshing beverages.

Late last month, the mom of three was back to her typical fashionista self at the 2016 Parsons Benefit at Chelsea Piers in NYC. 

She donned a plastic gown over a navy and white dress, adding shimmering pumps with a matching hued clutch while rocking smokey eye makeup and a sleek ponytail. 

Previously in May she appeared at the 2016 PEN American Literary Gala in a bold floral frock with pink and black-hued heels.
