But Jessica Chastain showed off her low-key side as she grabbed a ride on the subway in New York City on Friday.

The 39-year-old flaunted her fashion credentials in a stylish, designer trench coat as she was seen running errands solo.

Jessica wore a fitted, black Burberry trench coat, which The Help star sported with the sleeves rolled up to just past her wrists.

She sported that over top of a form-fitting, pink and black sweater, which was tucked into a pair of skintight, distressed black jeans.

She accessorized the flattering jeans with a small, black leather belt, also sporting a pair of black leather boots.

Jessica carried a stylish, black leather Givenchy handbag, and wore her famous red tresses pulled back into an effortless bun.

She covered her eyes with a pair of over-sized, black sunglasses, and kept her make-up simple for the outing.

That same day the foodie took to Instagram to show off a few of her New York City adventures, including what looked to be a delicious treat from Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream.
