There are not many 52 year olds who can pull off a see-through dress, but Elle Macpherson (left) is certainly one. The Australian model discusses work, life and love in the latest edition of Porter magazine, opening up about her marriage to billionaire Jeffrey Soffer (right) and her new business adventures.

Evan Fasciano (left and bottom right, now) was born with Harlequin Ichthyosis, a genetic disorder that leaves him at constant risk of infection, dehydration seizures and sunstroke. The five-year-old from Goshen, Connecticut, suffers from the most severe form of the disease which makes it look as though he's covered in 'scales'. When Evan was born (top right), his skin was so thick he couldn't open his eyes for two weeks - and spent the first two months of his life in hospital. His mother now gives him two baths a day to wash off the scales before they get too thick again.

Heavy rain, severe storms and strong winds continue to cause chaos in Tasmania as an extensive search is underway for two elderly people missing amid widespread flooding. As the wild weather moves down the east coast, residents are urged to brace for further flooding after parts of the state were drenched in more than 200 millimetres of rain over the weekend (pictured).

Picton in Sydney's southwest was ravaged by floodwaters. Entire supermarkets were forced to dump their sodden stock and family houses were left caked calf-high with mud. The Duffield family spent most of Monday cleaning their house after it had been flooded by the rampaging waters. Luckily for them though, friends and family helped to repair the flood damage at their home as best they could. The severe storm that hit Sydney on Sunday also left shops and businesses in Camden - also in Sydney's southwest - badly flooded.

The Mentalist star Simon Baker and his wife Rebecca Rigg have sold their lavish North Bondi penthouse for an undisclosed sum just NINE days after putting it up for sale between AUD$3.3 million and AUD$3.5 million. The Daily Telegraph reported on Monday that the beachside Bondi apartment was snapped up by a 'local buyer' through McGrath Estate Agents in Edgecliff within two weeks of being advertised - two years after the Hollywood couple paid AUD$2.63 million for the residence in 2014. Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actor - who makes his directorial debut in upcoming Australian thriller Breath - recently expanded his property portfolio after buying a $6.5 million, three-bedroom family home in nearby Bronte last October

The Avianca Airbus, which was flying from Lima in Peru to Buenos Aires in Argentina, was dramatically rocked at around 41,000ft. Images of injured people standing by their seats, oxygen masks hanging from the ceiling and panels snapped and dented emerged online following the incident. One passenger claimed that it was 'a miracle that passengers survived'.

NEW Olivia Tallent, whose father Garry is in Springsteen's E Street Band, posted a snap of her and the royal on Instagram with the caption 'new boyfriend'. The 19-year-old later provoked even more speculation when she wrote: 'Princess Olivia has a pretty nice ring to it, right?' Springsteen and his band were at Wembley last night for the latest leg of his The River world tour.

Close friend Tim Shanahan (above with Ali) claims the overly generous boxing legend 'would empty his wallet  - even for a stranger' in his memoir Running with the Champ and believes it has seriously impacted his fortune. Ali, who died on Friday, felt guilty about his affairs and having two children out of wedlock so he 'never said no' when relatives asked him for cash. He was persuaded to open Ali's Trolley chicken restaurant in Chicago where he lived, but it closed after 18 months. Shanahan claims members of his inner circle began 'actively ripping him off.' He claims Ali's cronies spent $2.5 million that should have gone to pay his taxes and looted $21 million from a sports company set up in his name. The author was 'disgusted' to see the boxer's so-called friends submitting bogus receipts for meals, clothes and drinks. Ali once told Shanahan,  'I never had any trouble with my white brothers around me. It's always my black brothers who try and screw me.'

NEW CCTV footage has revealed the extent of assaults from patients on hospital workers, as reports of assault in Queensland alone reached 641 in just the first three months of this year. The footage showed confronting images of police officers and wardsmen being attacked by patients (right) and of one man trying to smash a metal object against a glass door as a mother holding her baby walk past (left).

Seven-week-old Prince Alexander has made his public debut with his mother Princess Sofia, 31, and father Prince Carl Philip, 37, at celebrations for Sweden's National Day in Stockholm (right). Princess Sofia dressed in a traditional Swedish folk outfit, including a blue dress over a white collared shirt, with a mustard-coloured apron and looked every inch the doting mother as she settled her baby son (left).

British grandmother Doreen Collyer, 60 (left), who is originally from Chester, Cheshire, was diving at a reef off Mindarie Beach, about 35 kilometres north of Perth, when she was attacked by a great white shark yesterday. Her husband David had been driving to the beach to meet her and her diving companion, John, when he saw helicopters hovering overhead. He arrived at the boat yard (centre) to be told by paramedics that his 'loving wife' had been killed by a shark described as being 'bigger than an 18ft boat'. Paying tribute to his 'beautiful wife' today, Mr Collyer said the pair - who have two children together and a granddaughter called Daisy - moved to Australia five years ago to be closer to their son and grandchild. He said: 'Doreen was a beautiful person and everyone loved her, she was a devoted grandmother, mother and loving wife.' Police said Mrs Collyer's 43-year-old diving partner John pulled her from the water after the attack yesterday but she had died before they made it back to shore. Three men who came to the pair's aid reported seeing a shark which was longer than their 18-foot long fishing boat (centre), while video footage filmed by another crew shows a 'huge' shark swimming in the same area as the attack just 90 minutes afterwards (top right). There's every sign the upcoming nuptials of Salim Mehajer's little sister will top the former deputy mayor's outrageous ceremony last year. Khadijeh 'Kat' Mehajer (left, right) celebrated her bridal shower by boogieing down between teetering towers of cupcakes in three different dresses at the weekend. Many friends of the family have dubbed the forthcoming ceremony Sydney's 'next big wedding'.

NEW Louisa Eagle, 22, from Ealing, London, says she consumes around seven to ten jars a day to maintain her 8st 7lb figure. She believes the diet, which is popular with Hollywood celebrities, could be perfect for obese patients as a healthier alternative to gastric surgery. She said: 'Not only are they delicious but as the jars are made for babies they are very nutritious and they contain very little sugar, salt or other additives. There is no cooking involves and they are easily carried in a handbag.'

NEW Richard Huckle, from Ashford in Kent, masqueraded as a devout Christian, photographer and English teacher to abuse poor children in Kuala Lumpur over nine years. Huckle held his hands together as if praying when he was sentenced today. As he was taken down to the cells, a woman sitting in the public gallery (pictured in court sketch) yelled: 'A thousand deaths is too good for you.'

Claire Gray, of Newtonards, County Down has appealed for the return of a doll which belonged to her daughter Matilda, who died aged three months. The doll, also named Matilda, was given to the baby girl who Edward's syndrome, by Claire's friend who had also lost a baby (left). She has slept with her every night since her daughter died. Matilda was lost on an outing to Dublin Zoo as Claire and her husband Kristofer would often take her on days out with their son Archie as a way of remembering their late daughter.

Inside this small lot in Chengdu, China, there are at least two Bentleys (main), two Land Rovers, three Mercedes Benz and even the odd motorbike. They all have one thing in common - they've been abandoned by their owners. 

NEW At the beginning of the video the man can be heard laughing as the lizard, which resembles the creature that kills character Dennis Nedry in 1993's Jurassic Park, jumps up at his camera lens. After a few seconds the cameraman backs up to try and get away from the creature. However, he does not succeed. Sprinting backwards on the dusty Outback road, the man laughs along with his peers as the lizard catches up and refuses to stop chasing him. Since being uploaded to YouTube the video has had more than 250,000 views.

Five-month-old baby, Abigail Lynn, is supposed to be living with her adoptive parents in Georgia, but instead she is at home with her birth mother, Christina Fisher, in Florida. This is because Abigail was born with the rare condition, Treacher Collins syndrome, which means that some of her facial structures are underdeveloped. As a result, her adoptive mother fled the hospital, claiming Abigail was not what she hoped for, and her birth mum kept her instead.

Chaos erupted outside Kanye West's secret concert in New York City after hundreds of desperate fans descended on Webster Hall, forcing officials to cancel the gig. Police were called in to control and disperse the crowd as people swarmed around the venue in the East Village, and climbed on top of cars and a mail truck to get a better view as rumors swirled about the gig. Kanye was heard asking for Mayor Bill de Blasio to shut down the block in a Snapchat taken by wife Kim Kardashian (inset) after a stampede outside the venue. Fans went wild and chased the rapper, who was standing out of a sunroof, when he passed them in a car, but he wasn't able to deliver the performance they were hoping for. Webster Hall announced there would be 'no late show', and there were reports that some fans were tramped on in a crush or pepper sprayed as the situation got out of control.

NEW Nicolas Andre went to the aid of the stranded 12-foot creature after it got stuck in shallow waters near Lizard Point in Cornwall. After running to help in the rescue, he was stunned to realise it was actually a basking shark. The sharks regularly visit the Cornish coast in the summer months. Even though they are the world's second largest fish, they only eat Plankton and have no teeth.

The giant earthworm was spotted crossing the road in front of video host and entomologist Phil Torres, who was travelling to the Sumaco Volcano in Ecuador. Torres found the creature to be a staggering four foot long, although, according to the host, the same species is capable of reaching a length of around seven foot. The group also estimated that the earthworm weighed about 1lb.

This is the heart-stopping moment a daredevil diver came inches away from a one-and-a-half ton Great White shark and patted it on the nose and mouth off the coast of Guadalupe Island, Mexico. The shark was pictured attacking two cages, with stunning images showing her razor-sharp teeth up close and how she dwarfs the divers.

Radcliffe (pictured) is believed to have lived in the four-bedroom house in Fulham (pictured), west London, until the age of 12, a year after the first Harry Potter film was released, making him a global superstar. The child-star is reported to have been in the bath of the property when he heard the news that he had won the role. The house in Sherbrooke Road (pictured, from outside, top left), Fulham, West London, has a huge modern kitchen and dining room (top and bottom right), a double reception room (bottom left) and the estate agent believes it would attract interest even if the star hadn't lived there.

Kathryn Barnes (left), 21, from Chicago, says her ten reborn dolls - including models of twins with Down Syndrome (top right) called Aurora and Jaxson - bring her 'joy' and have helped her conquer depression after being bullied at school. However, she was forced to shut down her Instagram account after she received a torrent of abuse for posting pictures of her fake bump (bottom, right) as well as 'sonograms' and hospital test results to tell her reborn-loving followers that a new doll was on its way.

The artist has spray-painted a stick-wielding child chasing a burning tyre (pictured) on the side of Bridge Farm Primary in Whitchurch, Bristol. He has chosen the school because they decided to name a classroom after him because he is a local hero. Pupils and teachers were shocked to return to their school after half term to find a genuine Banksy on the wall outside. The artwork is a modern take on the playground game of hoop rolling, which was popular with Victorian children. The six-foot high artwork also features a flower and a small house with 'Banksy' signed to the bottom left of the brick building, and he left a note (left) encouraging them to add their own work to the mural.

These dizzying photographs reveal the densely packed 'village' where thousands of Tibetan monks and nuns call home. Rudimentary log cabins, painted in traditional Tibetan red, are piled high along the hillsides and valleys. They're all centred around a palatial structure - the Larung Gar Buddhist Institute in Sichuan, China.

The intense footage was captured in South Africa and shows the large antelope cooling off in a lake when a hungry predator spots it from a distance. The sheer speed of the crocodile is what makes the video incredibly unsettling as it stalks its prey and moves in for the kill. The predator gains on the waterbuck with every second that passes before the creature spots the threat and swims to the side. What follows it's a nail-biting race for survival as the creature mounts the bank moments before the crocodile's jaws are able to snap down on it.
