Face off! Incredible images of celebrity faces morphed together... so how many can YOU guess?

A German photoshop whiz has been mashing up faces of celebrities with incredible results. 

Instagram user Gesichtermix has been making the mind-boogling mashups for years, and now a new batch have been released.

In some cases, you can't even quite tell what is different about the face, until you suddenly recognise certain features.

Gesichtermix has been creating the celebrity faces for years now, and the results are absolutely flawless.

They seem to like mashups of celebrities with similarities, like actors with similar careers, or musicians who create similar music.  

In one, the artist morphs the faces of pop superstars Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga together, creating a big-eyed blonde with dramatic make-up.

In another, the actors who play Batman and Superman, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, have their faces merged together to create a new Hollywood hunk.

Some of the edited photos barely look different, with mashups of actors Jack Black with Jason Bateman and Adam Driver with Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking almost normal.

It's not just actors either, with Gesichtermix creating bizarre face merges of politicians and royals.

In one slightly scary picture, they mix together pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Luckily for Kate and Wills, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are much cuter than their face morph.

Another mashes up the Queen with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to create a woman with a very severe expression. 

The incredible photos have led to the artist to gain more than 18,000 followers on Instagram, with fans requesting mash ups they want to see.
