Elliott Wright has announced his engagement to girlfriend of 10 months Sadie Stuart.

Revealing the happy news on Twitter on Friday, the ex-TOWIE star wrote: 'I met this girl 10 months ago... I knew then she was special... Today even more so! Thankfully she said... Yes!'

The 35-year-old restaurateur, who has been married once before, also shared a heartfelt snap of himself and his new fiancee alongside the sweet message.

The TV personality seemingly went all out for his proposal as the loved-up twosome are clad in glamorous outfits in the snap, with Sadie making sure to flaunt her sparkling diamond ring as she poses with her hand on her hip. 

The couple went public with their romance in September last year and it seems Elliott is convinced that he has found the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with after getting down on one knee.

The public were briefly introduced to Sadie during an episode of The Only Way Is Marbs earlier this year, following Elliott's earlier exit from The Only Way Is Essex. 

The lovebirds - who live together in Marbella, Spain - have already received an influx of well wishes from their friends and family, including Mario Falcone.

Elliott's close friend and former co-star gushed: 'Congratulations Mr Wright... Great news.'

'Cheers mate x,' the cousin of TV presenter Mark Wright replied. 

Sadie, who describes herself as a singer/songwriter and a model on her Twitter page, is unsurprisingly overjoyed and took to Instagram to profess her elation and love for her new fiance. 

'From the moment I met this man it's been like a whirlwind fairytale... I couldn't be more happier... He asked me to spend the rest of my life with him, and I said YES!' she enthused. 

Elliott's famous family are yet to congratulate the reality star on social media.

Gushing about his girlfriend at the opening of one of his restaurants in September, he said: 'It's great being with Sadie and we're very happy.' 

Elliott's new romance started just months after he appeared to reunite with his ex and co-star Chloe Sims in one of the series' Marbella specials.

Speaking about their whirlwind union, which came to an abrupt end when Wright moved to Spain, Sims told This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth that she had good reasons to call it a day.

She explained: 'I ended up staying in Essex. I think our relationship was so complicated in the end.

'We had broken up a lot and got back together, but we did that in an intense small time… and also obviously I’ve got a 10 year old daughter.

Chloe, who dated Elliott on and off for over a year between the summers of 2014-15, added: 'I can’t be moving her unless I’m a hundred billion per cent sure and at the time I wasn’t. So I chose to stay in Essex.'

The 33-year-old beauty recently shut down rumours that she has since found love with multi-millionaire tycoon Robert Tchenguiz, 55.

According to The Mirror, a representative for the star shut down rumours of a relationship, and insisted that the two are just friends who enjoy spending time together.

'They aren’t dating. Chloe is very close to Robert’s sister, Lisa, and they are all hanging out and having fun together in Cannes,' her spokesperson told the publication.

Meanwhile, the engagement doesn't mark the first for Elliott, who has been married once before. 

While the relationship did not last, Elliott, who is a father-of-two, insisted in an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2014 that life after divorce is possible.

'You can move on from a divorce, but I don't think I will ever get over the situation of not waking up with my kids in the same house as me everyday,' he told the mag. 

'It's very hard but you can move on from that and you can meet somebody else. But from a man's point of view I don't think you can forget the moment you leave the family home.
