'We hope to see you there!' Johnny Depp gives first interview since marriage split... but stays silent on divorce as he promotes Hollywood Vampires

Johnny Depp stayed silent on his split from Amber Heard as he gave his first interview since the pair's messy split.

In an on camera interview to promote his band, The Hollywood Vampires, posted online on Friday, the smiling star encouraged fans to attend an upcoming gig.

'We hope to see you there and have some big fun,' Johnny said as he stands in front of a Hollywood Vampires poster holding a guitar ahead of their gig in Bucharest, Romania.

He even managed a smile in the short video promoting Monday's performance, released by Phoenix Entertainment.

While Johnny did not address his personal life, it is not known when the clip was recorded.

The video came as the actor and bandmates Alice Cooper and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry took time out for some sightseeing on Saturday after jetting into Bucharest on Friday.

Since hitting the road last month, the superstar, who turns 53 on Thursday, has not commented on Amber's May 23 divorce filing after 15 months of marriage or the temporary restraining order the model took out against him four days later.

The 30-year-old model and actress was seen leaving the Superior Court of Los Angeles High Court last week with a bruised cheek allegedly caused when Johnny threw a cell phone at her.

A hearing on Amber's domestic violence case against Johnny is due to take place in Los Angeles in two weeks, but he is not required to attend in person, according to E! News.

In the meantime, the Pirates Of The Caribbean star has apparently been enjoying his month playing gigs across Europe.

He is expected to be back in Los Angeles next week after the Vampires play their last gig in Bucharest, Romania, on Monday.

On Saturday they were joined by Johnny's longtime movie collaborator, director Tim Burton, for a visit to spooky Bran Castle, reputedly the Transylvanian haunt of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Meanwhile, the band is taking a three-week break before kicking off the tour Stateside.

They will play Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on July 9 and wrap the 17-gig run in Paso Robles on July 25.
