Nothing says summer like the arrival of florals in High Street stores. But put the predictable, pretty prints to one side - blooms have had a makeover and there’s no space for shrinking violets.

Look for Gucci-inspired separates with intricate embroidered detailing, or Calvin Klein-esque abstract prints on a range of delicate fabrics.

Don’t be afraid to clash prints either, just pick one main colour that ties the outfit together and you can be sure you’ll look blooming marvellous . . .
