Perrie Edwards shows off her VERY peachy posterior in sultry selfie... as she turns a blind to former fiancé Zayn Malik's latest high profile split

She faced public heartbreak last summer when she broke up with former fiancé, Zayn Malik.

However, Perrie Edwards gave her former 1D beau something to think about on Saturday as she posted a steamy selfie, following his shock breakup with supermodel Gigi Hadid. 

The 22-year-old looked smouldering in the shot as she posed with her back to the camera in a pair of skin-tight grey leggings that perfectly showed off her pert derrière.

Despite her sexy style the Little Mix singer still decided to cover up from the spring chill in an edgy ripped denim jacket, which she casually slung off her shoulder to expose a hint of her white bra.

She then rounded off her laid-back look with a pair of on-trend flatform trainers and some over-sized round shades.

Sticking to her simple, yet chic style, Perrie scraped back her golden tresses into a high ponytail that cascaded down past her shoulders.

And as she stood in the blooming green garden, Perrie made sure that her face was as fresh as her surrounding as she opted for minimal makeup apart from just a dusting of carefully placed contouring to accentuate her impossibly high cheekbones.

Perrie's fans also couldn't seem to get enough of the image, as the photo has already received over 150,000 likes. 

However, the shot is certain not to have eased Zayn Malik's heartbreak.

Zayn and Perrie ended their relationship in July 2015 after being engaged for two years.

The pair - who originally met on The X Factor - split in the midst of an alleged cheating scandal after he was pictured with his arm around Lauren Richardson during a wild night out in Thailand.

Claiming that the photo was innocent, the former One Direction star announced he was 'sorry for how it looks' and tweeted about his love for Perrie.

Speaking to MailOnline, Lauren confirmed that nothing happened between the pair, saying: 'It just got blown out of proportion. The picture was just a picture.'

This wasn't the first scandal to rock their romance since Zayn flew back to the UK to save his relationship in February 2013 after pictures emerged of the star allegedly in a waitress' bed.

Australian Courtney Webb took pictures of the singer while he slept, which went public. But Perrie stood by her man.

But despite making a very public display of their 7 month romance, it was announced this week that Zayn, 23, and Gigi, 21, had also broken up.

Another source said: 'Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out.

'It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.'

Although she's yet to comment on the split, Gigi posted a cryptic Snapchat of a loved-up card on Thursday.

'I know it's obvious, but I love you,' the card read, under an image image of a red heart on a sleeve.
