Meadow Walker, 17, smiles happily as she presents Adrien Grenier with award in her father Paul's memory on World Ocean Day

She launched the Paul Walker Foundation - an organization founded to fund marine science research - in her father's memory in September.

And on Saturday Meadow honoured the late Paul Walker as she celebrated World Ocean Day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The 17-year-old stood alongside actor Adrian Grenier as he was presented with the 2016 Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award.

Meadow received a reported $10.1million settlement in the wake of the tragic 2013 car accident that killed her father.

On what would have been the Fast and Furious' star 42nd birthday back in September, Meadow launched the organization.

She announced on Instagram when she launched the organization stating: 'Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions.'

Adding: 'I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others.'

Meadow, whose appearance on social media is rare, previously took to Instagram to share a photo gazing out across the ocean on Thursday.

She captioned the dreamy snapshot: 'Excited to honor my dad's legacy at our @PaulWalkerFdn Ocean Leadership Award Presentation @MontereyBayAquarium this Saturday.

'We'll be presenting a scholarship to Meg Kikkeri and acknowledging @AdrianGrenier's work with his @LonelyWhale Foundation! #dogood'
