They're incredibly close to one another and Kerry Katona and her 14-year-old daughter Molly McFadden spent a quality day together at the world famous Thorpe Park theme park.

The pair could barely contain their delight as they rode a rollercoaster ride as they held onto the bars for dear life, with Lily-Sue, 13, sitting close behind.

Molly looked every inch the sassy teenager wearing a backwards baseball cap, which she removed for the ride, as well as an Adidas sweater and skinny jeans.

Kerry, 35, also appeared to be having the time of her life, wearing a simple khaki jumper, with black leggings and a pair of flat boots.

Wearing her blonde locks in a funky up do, the former Atomic Kitten singer went on another ride with a pal, flicking the V-sign and sticking her tongue out for the cameras.

Molly and Lily-Sue are both Kerry's children from her first marriage to former Westlife singer Brian McFadden.

She is also a mother to Heidi, nine, and Maxwell, seven, from her second marriage to Mark Croft and her youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge, one, from her last marriage to George Kay, who she has now split from.

Last week, Kerry revealed she was absolutely thrilled when her oldest daughter was mistaken for her daughter.

The former Atomic Kitten star joyfully took to Twitter to inform her 474,000 followers that a routine hospital visit resulted in a doctor believing the pair to be siblings.

She said: 'This isn’t how I expected my life to turn out, I thought I’d be with my first husband [Brian McFadden] forever, but I wouldn’t have it any other way because I have five amazing kids.

'I’ve been slagged off so much for being a bad mum, which has been awful, so I always feel guilty.

'I know I’m doing a good job bringing up my children, so when people say: "Those poor kids, all the different dads, all the different marriages," it’s the most heartbreaking thing ever.'

Kerry has spoken in the past about how much respect she has for her daughter. When she was pictured on a boozy holiday in Gran Canaria earlier this year, it was Molly who she apologised to.

She said on This Morning: 'To be honest, I feel like I don’t have to explain or say sorry to anybody. I was just being a typical Brit on holiday.'

'I went away for a few days, the first time without my children. We’ve had a bit of a rough year, and I was on the plane, we got up at four in the morning, we had no food, and I hit the champagne as one does on holiday… and as soon as the fresh air hit me - I was just desperate to get a suntan!'

Kerry went on: 'I’ve been really open and honest with my children. I have two of my children here with me today - they know me, they know how hard I work at home, and I showed Molly the video and she was "Oh God Mum, what are you like?"

'I said "Molly I’m dead sorry", and she said, "But mum, you work so hard, you deserve to let your hair down"... my children know me, and they know who I am.'

It is perhaps their honest open relationship which makes them more like siblings as Kerry insisted she would never get in such a state in front of her children.

She said: 'I don’t go out all the time. I have no childcare, I have five children, I’m doing this on my own… and I got on that plane and I was so giddy.'
