Hunters operating in Malawi have been targeting people who suffer from Albinism in a bid to kill them for their body parts, which are then sold to be used in potions made by witch doctors. The latest victim to be murdered was a nine-year-old boy, who was snatched from his mother, left, after a gang broke into their house in the middle of the night. Cradling her remaining son, the boy's twin brother, the mother recalled being hit over the head with a machete as she tried to save her child.

The 34 teenagers were plucked from a hazardous stretch of the Kent coast with falling rocks after getting lost during a walk on Monday night, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said. The hiking party, which included two adults, raised the alarm with Kent Police at around 9pm after becoming disorientated as they followed a coastal path between St Margaret's Bay and Dover Harbour. The group are believed to be from London's Jewish community and the coastguard said today they are lucky to be alive.

The EU report shows 85.9 per cent of EU migrants in the UK have a job - 5 per cent more than British adults. It also reveals European migrants are far more likely to be in work than non-EU incomers. But in rival countries - such as Germany, France and Sweden - the reverse is true, with more domestic people in work than EU migrants. Brexit campaigners said the report was proof that the poorest are the most affected by the EU's open borders immigration system and said leaving would also boost wages for the lowest paid.

A yoga expert has been accused of intentionally driving her car off a 200ft cliff in Hawaii killing her twin sister, who was in the passenger's seat. Childhood sweethearts John Blades, 75, and Esther Blades (pictured together top right), 74, have always shared a passion for Japan and Japanese culture. 'Jenny', 17, from Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, had been talking to the 28-year-old on Facebook for six months, and when he asked, she agreed to meet him. She spent the first two weeks in captivity unconscious, after which she remembers being repeatedly raped, abused and fed drugs to force her into submission and stop her escaping. Jenny was finally freed when a neighbour saw her at the abuser's house, and reported it to the police.

British comedian John Oliver performed an incredible act of generosity on Sunday when his topical comedy show, HBO's 'Last Week Tonight,' bought and forgave $15million of medical debt belonging to 9,000 Americans. The dramatic moment was the climax to a 20-minute segment on America's growing industry of debt buyers, who buy 'delinquent debt' for pennies on the dollar then threaten debtors to get the cash. Oliver, who bought the $14,922,261.76 debt for $60,000, said: 'On one hand, it's obviously the right thing to do, but much more importantly [we got to stage] the largest one-time giveaway in television show history,' Fox News reported.

This is the moment when a tiger finally won a bloody fight of life and death against a doomed deer. The tiger had spotted the herd of Sambar deers quenching their thirst by Rajbagh Lake at Rahnthambhore National Park in Rajasthan, India, and launched an attack on a young stag. Bretagne, a 16-year-old golden retriever who was the last surviving search dog helping to find survivors after the twin towers came crashing down on September 11, has died in Texas. With a host of honors to her name and countless searches behind her, Bretagne was honored - as any human would be - one final time before her death. A row of firefighters stood at attention as Bretagne walked with her owner, Denise Corliss, into the Fairfield Animal Hospital in Cypress, Texas. Bretagne began suffering from kidney failure and when she stopped eating, Corliss knew it was time to say goodbye. The dog, who was also a volunteer firefighter, had also aided in searches during Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ivan and Hurricane Rita.

Hairdressers are now using lasers on hair to prolong the effects of Keratin straightening treatments. The new gadget, which uses 'Photonic Ray Emission' technology, can turn frizzy and wavy hair sleek and straight in a short amount of time. Mya is an adorable Pomeranian - Siberian Husky cross, or Pomsky, that looks exactly like a fox. A post on Reddit sees the Tibetan Terrier blend seamlessly into a brown and cream chevron rug, with its fur perfectly matching the pattern on the carpet. The user mildlyinteresting shared the photograph yesterday and it has already been liked more than 3,000 times. -iamverysmart- wrote: 'Did you buy the rug to match the dog or the dog to match the rug?' A fish has been photographed swimming within a jellyfish with a bewildered look on its face off the coast Australia. Tim Samuel was free diving in the waters off Byron Bay, near the Queensland-New South Wales border, when he noticed a jellyfish bobbing past with a fish trapped inside it. He posted images of the bizarre sight to Instagram which showed the small fish looking snug within the bell of the jelly fish.

Spectators at a Japanese baseball game were left spooked after tormented ghosts from horror classics 'The Grudge' and 'The Ring' stepped out onto the field. With Sadako from 'The Ring' pitching and Kayako from 'The Grudge' batting, professional athletes from the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Yakult Swallows sat back and enjoyed the show. The mashup of iconic horror-genre characters was a promotional stunt for an upcoming Japanese film titled 'Sadako vs Kayako' - which pits the two murderous ghosts against each other.

Imgur user SickOfFeelingNumb posted the snap of the unknown commuter on the New York subway with the caption, 'Excuse me would you mind not sitting like that please?' The footage was posted online by ESR, a firm based in British Colombia, Canada, who say the gentle laser light is capable of removing harmful and unsightly deposits without chemicals to restore everything from sculptures and bronze statues. The firm say it can even remove abrasives, water, dust and residues that would otherwise cause permanent damage to priceless historical architecture. In the video the laser is seen cutting through the contamination on the surface of a fire place and instantly restoring it without the need for scrubbing.
