An air date for the small-screen reboot of Dirty Dancing has yet to be announced, but you can see one of its stars Sarah Hyland, 25, lace up her dancing shoes now in a gorgeous photo shoot for BeautyCoach.com.

The shoot, which was styled and photographed by the site's founders and celebrity hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, was inspired by another popular dance movie, Black Swan.

Playing off of the film's good-versus-evil theme (though in a less haunting way), the actress poses against ballet bars and in various ballet positions in a wardrobe of white and black dancewear and ethereal dresses.

Given that the shoot is the work of beauty industry insiders, Sarah's hair and make-up looks in the photos are, of course, seriously on point - pun intended.

In some, she appears with a glowy complexion and beachy waves, while in others, her hair is swept up into a messy top knot and her eyelids are painted with a healthy dose of liner.

Our favorite though - seen in unreleased images exclusive to FEMAIL - is a glitter-flecked smoky eye that's paired with a mohawk braid-top knot hybrid that we want to wear all summer.

Hairstylist Nikki Lee told FEMAIL that the key to nailing the look is to use your eyebrow arches as a guide for where to gather the middle section of hair before braiding.

After French braiding this area on Sarah from her hairline to the crown of her head, Nikki secured with an elastic and applied Tigi Joyride Texturizing Powder Balm on the tail of the braid before teasing it with a comb. She then divided the tail into two sections and tied them into a knot, fastening with bobby pins.

After curling the rest of the rest of Sarah's hair with a one inch curling iron, she applied S Factor by Tigi Creamy Molding Wax through lengths to perfect the messy look.

Accompanying the photos, readers are also treated to a Q&A with the actress in which her inner beauty shines through.

'To me, inner beauty means being a strong, kind, giving soul. Be compassionate, but don’t let people take advantage of you. Be forgiving, but don’t forget. Give back to the world, but don’t let anyone take too much of you,' she told the site.

The Modern Family star also stressed the importance of surrounding yourself with positivity.

'I try and surround myself with people who I think practice a way of life that is similar to mine or that I would like to emulate.'
