Back to the beach! Spring Breakers co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson reunite wearing much more demure looks than in their 2013 drama

They played wild party girls Candy and Brit in Harmony Korine's 2013 flick Spring Breakers.

But Vanessa Hudgens and pal Ashley Benson seemed to be having a much more tame reunion as they were spotted taking in a beach day in Malibu on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Pretty Little Liars star covered up with a towel, as the Disney Channel alum, 27, was demure in a long, bulky cardigan.

Ashley wore a black bathingsuit with thin straps, that was mostly obscured by a large, pink, yellow, and green patterned towel.

She wore the towel wrapped around her like a dress as she walked along the beach barefoot beside Vanessa.

The blonde beauty kept her accessories to a minimum on the outing, sporting simply a pair of reflective sunglasses.

Her long hair was pulled back into a messy bun, and her hands were full with a red, plastic cup and two canned beverages as she walked.

Vanessa, meanwhile, showed off a bit of skin in a tiny, ruffled white crop top, worn with a floor-length, white layered skirt.

She accessorized the bohemian look with a coordinating, white choker necklace, covering her long, curly locks with a wide-brimmed straw hat.

The Grease: Live star's toned stomach was on full display with her crop top, until Vanessa bundled up in a loose-fitting, long-sleeved tan cardigan.

The bulky, cable knit sweater looked cozy, and fell to just past the High School Musical actress's knees.

Vanessa and Ashley were also joined by the former's boyfriend Austin Butler, married couple Lauren Scruggs and Jason Kennedy, some four-legged friends, and a few others for their beach day.

Ashley and Vanessa previously worked together on 2013 drama Spring Breakers, which followed four college girls (Vanessa, Ashley, Selena Gomez, and Rachel Korine) who hold up a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation.

Then, while partying/drinking/taking drugs they are arrested only to be bailed out by a drug and arms dealer (James Franco).
