With a newborn at home and doing her bit to help America potentially have its first woman President, sleep must be a distant memory for this star.

Chrissy Teigen was spotted arriving back on the East Coast early Tuesday morning after catching the red eye from California overnight.

The 30-year-old model arrived home immaculately dressed in the outfit she had worn the night before at a Hilary Clinton fundraiser.

Besides shades covering her no doubt tired eyes, there was no sign that the star had just arrived in town after a long overnight flight or that she had slept in her clothes.

In fact, if photographs of her wearing the same look in Los Angeles the previous evening did not exist, it would have just appeared like the star wanted to get and early and stylish start to the day.

Chrissy headed into her apartment wearing a pair of high waisted cropped light blue jeans with a grey tank top tucked into the waistband, highlighting her incredible post-baby physique.

Making the look even more stylish, the swimsuit model added a bone coloured trench which paired perfectly with her nude Stuart Weitzman Nudist heels.

Not joining her was husband John Legend - who performed at Monday night's fundraiser also - or baby Luna, who joined her parents on the West Coast.

Chrissy really put her support behind Hilary with the star not just attending the She's With Us event, but also hosting it.

The star showed her political position as well as her smarts and sense of humour taking pot shots at Donald Trump.

Mocking the Celebrity Apprentice star for his comments that Hillary has been playing the 'women's card,' the model joked: 'This woman card has been awesome. It’s been so good at getting us equal pay.'

Voting in the California primaries is on Tuesday, and Hilary has real competition from fellow Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders.

While Hilary is believed to have the numbers behind her to make her the presumptive candidate, a victory in California will give Bernie real ammo to stay in the race until July's Democratic Convention.
