Daniel Radcliffe shows off his beard for Angeleno magazine while talking life after Harry Potter and his new movie Now You See Me 2

Life post Harry Potter doesn't seem to be that challenging for Daniel Radcliffe.

The British actor, who rose to prominence as the title character in J.K. Rowling's billion dollar film adaptation, showed off a good-looking manly beard on the cover of Angeleno magazine's June issue, proving he's moving on from being just the world renowned wizard.

The Harry Potter star discussed his work in Now You See Me 2 and finishing up production of the upcoming drama, Jungle, which he filmed in the spring in Australia and South America.

While talking about his career, the New York native confessed, 'when you're a kid and you're in films, all you get asked is - so, what is going to happen to you? - you're constantly being forced up against the expectation that your career has a very short shelf life..I don't want to be that.'

The 26-year-old British stage and film actor added he's not above dabbling in other things in the meantime. 'I'm interested in writing,' he said. 'I'm interested in directing. So if it's just acting going away, I'd probably do those two things.'

He also said making a long-term plan would be 'unwise' of him, especially in the film industry. 'Unless you're going into a massive franchise...But for me, it's what works for me right now.'

The Harry Potter alum appeared on The Tonight Show on Monday while host Jimmy Fallon showed the audience various photographs of women from across several centuries, noticing the unbelievable similarities with Harry Potter.

In one picture there was an older woman wearing a headscarf and glasses and legitimately looked the same as Radcliffe. 'That's me as an old lady,' Radcliffe joked. 'It's me as an old lady as a young boy.'

Ultimately, the two dressed as a pair of their doubles they suspected would have been friends, as Radcliffe took on a big collared shirt and voluminous wig, and Fallon applied a mustache and long hair.

Onward with Fallon, Daniel talked about his two upcoming movie projects, Now You see Me 2 and Swiss Army Man.

In Now You see Me 2, in theaters on June 10th, Radcliffe stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Lizzy Caplan, in the sequel that sees the Four Horsemen resurface while they are forcibly recruited by a tech genius to pull off their most impossible heist yet.

As shared on A24 film's Twitter page, Monday in New York press were invited on a double-decker bus and driven around town to promote Swiss Army Man with the real Radcliffe and a dead-body Radcliffe double from the movie, named Manny.

Swiss Army Man, which premiered at this year's Sundance festival,  tells the wacky tale of a man (Paul Dano) who befriends a dead body (Daniel Radcliffe) and the adventure they seek out.
