Opera star Elina Garanca wins award for "Romantique"

Elina Garanca will be among those honored October 6th at Germany’s "Echo Klassik" Awards presentation, winning for her album of "all-time most-romantic” opera arias – "Romantique" (a "Deutsche Grammophon" recording).
She sings (superbly!) selections from the songbooks of Donizetti, Saint-Saens, Gounod, Berlioz, Tchaikovsky, and others.
Previously, in 2007 and 2009, Garanča was recipient of the "Echo Klassik" award as singer of the year.
