Jennifer Hudson wowed in two gorgeous ensembles at the CFDA Awards on Monday night.
The 34-year-old arrived in a gorgeous colour block gown to the New York fashion event but quickly slipped into a flowing and sparkly jumpsuit to perform onstage.Â
The singer's first outfit of the evening displayed her small waist in the high-low dress, which featured a red and black pattern.Â

The evening's performer accessorized minimally,with delicate earrings, a set of rings and high heels.
The engaged beauty modeled a flawless face, which was the perfect backdrop for the rest of her make-up.Â
For eyes, the short-haired Confirmation actress went for a deep, heavily lined and lashed look, with a dust of gold in her inner corners.
Her glam was complete with swipe of red lipstick. Â

She then changed into a striking jumpsuit, featuring over 1.7million Swarovski crystals, for her performance.Â
The Council of Fashion Designers of America awards is held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and was hosted by Joel McHale.
On announcing the choice, Steven Kolb, chief executive of the CFDA, specifically identified Mr. McHale as 'someone who comes from outside the fashion industry' and noted that it would 'keep the night lively, topical and unexpected.'

The 44-year-old said himself that guests should be ready for him to poke fun at proceedings.
He told New York Times: 'If you don’t have a sense of humor about yourself, you’re not going to enjoy it. It’s a pretty short monologue, so it has to be packed. I’m not going to be like, "Now I will take this person out for the next two minutes."
'On the other hand, it would be very strange for me to do a lot of jokes complimenting my subject.'
While the show is not televised, guests will still enjoy a sit-down dinner.Â
